Mmm..... Would I leave loserdom?
*cough* Well, I"m 4 or 5 years out of high school, but it sounds like I had a different school experience than others posted. I really was the 'loser' person. I had my tight group of about 7 friends, but everyone else in the school treated me either like I didn't exist, or like I was an "it". The 'popular' girls would literally come across the room to inform me that I was 'ugly', 'unpopular', and that 'you sing horrible, you should just quit choir'. At almost every opportunity, I was reminded that I was disliked and ignored, and those that weren't actively putting me down did not raise a finger to lift my spirits at all. I have this one memory in specific. If one of my 7 tight friends weren't in a class with me, I would simply opt to do group projects on my own because attempting to join someone else's group was awkward and difficult. This one substitute teacher told us to form up pairs for a project. There was an odd number of students in the class, so I took out my workbook and started on my own. The teacher called attention to the fact that I was not in a group and asked if there was anyone else without a partner. There was not, and so she asked me to chose a group to join. I told her I'd rather work on my own, and so she asked which group would like an extra person. I had to stand there staring at the floor for what seemed like hours as the teacher expressed her surprise at no volunteers, and then made a huge stink about how rude everyone in the class was at not allowing a classmate to join their groups, and then made a big deal about how if nobody else would work with me, SHE WOULD. I know she meant well, but I can think of no moment in life that was of greater humiliation.
But even with all that, I wouldn't trade who I am to be someone I'm not. I don't understand what all this was about in school, I have good people skills now, but that experience made me a better, stronger person, and I can relate to ppl who are going through that, and help them through themselves.
So ya. I love being a loser. ^.^

Confuseus57 You do realize that losers out number them, so hateing everyone is over kill. I'm with him. Despite the TV time they get...they're only a small minority of people. And really they seem like bigger losers in the long run. What was it that Pearl Jam called it??? "Heard Behaviour."
