I know a lot of good french movies: Amelie Poulain The Chorists La Môme Astérix et Obélix: Mission Cléopatre Le Diner des cons Un long dimanche de fiançailles
And of course there's all those animated japanese films by Hayao Miyazaki (I love those).

Also, L'Auberge espagnole was surprisingly decent. Unassuming movie about a group of international students living together in a small apartment. Many languages are spoken.

There is a Korean film called 3-Iron which is about a young man who breaks into people's homes to stay there and while he is there he fixes things around their house, does their laundry, etc. in return for their unknown hospitality. While staying in one home he discovers a woman who is the victim of domestic abuse and she joins him.
It is such a beautiful movie and since there is little to no dialogue from the two main characters, the actors have to display all emotion through their faces and action.

advent children 3nodding moon child 3nodding parasaito ivu biggrin
yesss they're all very good biggrin although if you're not much of a final fantasy 7 fan and have no clue what it is, i don't know if you'd like/understand advent children.

Some that I would recommend are: -Run Lola Run (In original German)- Which a few people have also recommended. -The Green Butchers (Danish dark comedy) -Both Day Watch & Night Watch (Russian action film) -The Host (Korean monster movie) -Drunken Master (Old Jackie Chan movie) -Strings (French drama with puppets who know of their strings) -Pan's Labyrinth (Spanish dark fantasy) - Also recommended by others.
