When the other filly suddenly started backing up and made the strange sound, Asami grew a little curious. Quietly, she walked towards where the other filly was standing before. A slight giggle escaped Asami when she looked at the little spider. "Just a spider." She said, looking at the other filly. Asami nudged the spider onto a different blade of grass and picked it up, her eyes crossing as she looked at the spider on the end. "They help keep the annoying flies away." Asami said, her words muffled by the end of the blade of grass in her mouth. Quickly, she made the spider walk onto a tree trunk. "There, gone." Unlike other fillies, Asami didn't fear bugs at all.

Pocket Lint frowned, not liking what she saw. It was such a strange bug thing and scary with eight limbs. If she ever saw another soquili with that many legs, she would faint. The mare turned to look at the other foal and frowned a bit, seeing how easily she could handle the weird thing. The usdia filly didn't want to touch that blade of grass that the spider was just on, even if it was moved.
She shyly looked to the other foal, even if she was larger than her. She didn't even know whether she trusted the other foal enough to speak. Averting her gaze, she decided to ask the question on her mind. "H-how d-does a s-sp-spider d-do that?" She asked in a quiet voice.

Asami's ears flicked towards the other's voice. Did she just speak or was Asami hearing things? Her head tilted a little to the other then her eyes moved towards the spider and the blade of grass that she just got the spider off of. The other didn't seem to be too happy with the blade of grass, so Asami dug out a hole from the grown then buried the blade.
She thought about the other's question for a second. Asami would tell the filly the truth, but add on a little, just to get her a little scared. "They catch bugs in their webs and EAT their guts!" Her one brother would love watching the other filly's reaction.

Pocket Lint watched the filly for a moment, shifting her gaze back and forth between the ground and the other filly. She was confused why the other filly buried the strand of grass she didn't want to eat, but didn't ask about it. After hearing the answer, she wrinkled her nose a bit, her ears flicking back at the image of a spider doing that. "O-oh.. okay." She said quietly. She never really thought that bugs had guts, like have a heart or lungs since whenever a bug got smushed, only black-ish stuff comes out.
The usdia filly shook her head trying to get those thoughts out of her mind. "Yuck." She shuttered, losing her appetite to eat anymore. The filly much prefered finding worms in her apples than spiders in her grass.

Asami's ears flicked towards the other. She didn't really say much did she? The orange maned filly shrugged her shoulders when the other wrinkled her nose. "Well they gotta eat something and the grass is saved for us and the bunnies." She said with a nod. Asami looked at the other filly for a moment. She didn't seem to be too tomboyish like Asami was. Her thoughts jumbled a little for a second.
Curiosity got the best of Asami and she asked the other, "What do you do for fun?" She wasn't too sure what other fillies did. Asami thought that they all looked in the water at their reflection all day or played stupid games that only girly fillies would like. Her muzzle scrunched up at the thought of such boring games.

Pocket Lint watched the orange-haired filly. She nodded her head. "I-I guess.." She said in a quiet voice. "T-they're just.. scary.." She muttered, her ears witching. The usdia filly was used to seeing other bugs, but they didn't bug her as much as spiders did. "A-aren't they d-deadly?" She cringed, hearing that somewhere.
The filly blinked, looking up to Asami, staring at her briefly before glancing away. "I-- uhm--" She tried to think of what she did. "P-play with m-my friends R-ranulf and S-sweet." She nodded her head. "I- a-also like h-hiding in m-my secret s-spot." She said quietly.

Asami gave a thoughtful tilt of her head. She wasn't the smartest of fillies, but she definitely wasn't the dumbest. "Yeah, some are. Thats how they kill their prey." The tan filly said, imagining it for a moment. The spiders chomping down on an innocent bug and killing it with it's poison. Asami didn't seem to be fazed by thought.
Play with her friends. That was simple. Though, she probably didn't play the way Asami and her brothers did. They ran around and usually tried to hurt one another. Then the other's words caught Asami's attention. "Secret spot?"

Pocket Lint could only cringe at the thought of that. "I-I d-don't like th-that." She nodded her head shakily. Any image of something killing another freaked her out. Her ears would twitch a bit before returning to being flicked back. "Uhm-- yeah.." She said softly. "It's where n-nothing bad c-can find me." She said, avoiding the filly's gaze as she said so.

Asami's shoulders shrugged simply as the other cringed and spoke. "They gotta eat somehow and flies are annoying." She said with a nod. Of course, spiders weren't too good to be around either. "Wouldn't it be boring just sitting in there all day?" It seemed this filly didn't like being out and would rather be by herself. She gave a thoughtful look then decided not to think about it too much.

She smiled when the other agreed with her. Her brown and orange tail flicked behind her as she watched the other filly. A yawn escaped the taller filly. This smaller filly wasn't nearly as fun as she expected. Her blue eyes glanced around the area for a moment before she decided to let the filly be alone, she didn't seem to be too comfortable with Asami around. "Well, I have to go now... My parents are probably worried." With that, she began trotting off in a random direction, hoping she would find another soquili that wouldn't be so fearful.
