Any card can be made into a good card. Take confusion in the ranks for example. My favorite combo with it is to use the old viashinos that just bounce.
Just toss in a couple donates and a panoptic mirror into a deck full of crap and keep giving everything to your opponent. You can shut someone down with the right cards. say...three thought nibblers and a lord of the pit or yawgmoths demon?

Vicious_X Despite how many bad cards you might have in it, there is always the possibilty that it could do quite well actually. At least it's happened for me anyway. sweatdrop same. i'm jsut testing a theory. my friend has loads of cards that i think are good but he doesn't. i told him that i'd compile a list of some pretty bad cards, and build a deck out of them and beat his best deck. no bad card is bad. even tree bad cards together can make an all powerful combo. it's jsut gettign the right cards, and seeing the play value. i see playvalue in every card posted. but i'm takign the cards that need the msot complicated of strategies (or jsut ones i'm too lazy to actually try to do) for the deck

dpesmker red: tears of rage___________ i use this card in one of my graveyard decks. tramplize your creatures, then drop it when the attack is right. and it only costs 4? plus any creature in the graveyard allows you to activate some pretty creapy effects cinder wall_________3/3 for 1. a cheap early game blocker goblin spy_________i'm thinking Dark Confident. or another card where you reveal the top card to do something. goblin archaeologist_____________artifact set scarred puma__________ it's a lightning elemental/ for R, so what if you need a green creature to attack (black also) it' can be soemthing to stop an attacker from choosing to attack early, a way to start hurting early (drop some green creature the next turn) artifact: rust elemental____________artifact set, Mirrodin did come up with ways to revive said artifacts ((and i just took 5 mins to look at my cards))

1313.EXE DinTheInperceptive MUDHOLE. There, I said it. -how so.? neutral Remove all land cards from the graveyard? HOSHIT, you got me now. The only thing that deals with is Crucible-abuse, and decks that run that can usually counter Mudhole away. For the most part, Mudhole is a scrubby as you can get.

Ah...I think LD decks usually run far better cards than mudhole in the SB.
However, my worst card is Pale Moon, because it requires the opponent to be playing nonbasic lands that they only use for producing mana to cripple them AT ALL. And even then, it's only for a turn.
I know you said Odyssey forward, but...
