In almost a quarter of a second, Amnity had an arrow already loaded on her bow, holding it steady and level to the ground. She looked toward the unexpected newcomer, but all at once she smiled and relaxed. It's only Raven... The clatter of the marching soldier's armor made it hard for her to hear what her friend had said. A few of them actually turned though to see who it was too, then they gasped in fear and shock. Now that she thought about it, her horse did seem a bit dark....

"Nice to see you're finally up on your horse Rae." Amnity chuckled, using an old idiom and complimenting her horse at the same time. "Lead the way old friend."

Amnity did nothing even as the horse's giant hooves crashed on the ground just in front of her. She didn't bat an eye, she just stayed completely still, trained not to panic in stressful situations. Mentally, she beat herself up for making the horse act the way it did. She would apologize later....To Raven, not the horse. If it were just the horse, it may have been a very bloody battle.

The general decided not to bother about it anymore, she just turned her attention back to Rae, a smile played across her face as she followed beside her. It wasn't very hard to catch up with them, seeing as they seemed to move pretty slow. She hummed a light tune over the clatter of armor and soldiers as they all marched to the old ruins, trying to brighten the mood.

Shay groaned and stumbled a bit as she clenched at her stomach, only to soon after puke. She wiped at her mouth and stood firm with her head and chin raised high-- as if she had to prove something. Her instincts told her to stray and go about unnoticed, but as of this moment-- she didn’t really care. She just vomited, and all she really thought consist of that damn Inn. And it's horrid, food. “Damn, you!” She cursed under her breath, referring to The Black Dragon Inn.
Her gaze drifted upon the painted stars on the wall, and she scoffed at them. “What a waste, of time.” she thought, but then again-- it did have it’s perks. She looked around the courtyard wondering when David was going to arrive, and then her gaze fell upon the stables. She grinned in delight, rubbing her hands affectionately while stepping forward. "Come, to Mama."

Shay felt the presence of someone behind her, yet she knew it was David-- so she instantly dropped her hand from one of her sheathed daggers. David’s comment, had shay grinning and rubbing at her chin with a raise brow. “Oh yes-- two at the very least. One for riding and the other for cooking.” she jokingly said, but continued. “Horse stew, is one of the most commonly good cures for churning, and sickly stomachs.” she teased, and then quickly spun around facing him.
There was a shadowy knowledge in her eyes, something that stood out saying she had a hunch. And intended to follow it by any means necessary. “Something just isn’t right David-- I feel as if something’s amidst with those individuals that past through the portal before us. Something big. I just can’t shaking the feeling, that I need to go wherever it is they went. Something in my bones, just tells me to follow. I can’t explain it other than that.” she had a hazy look in her eyes of uncertainty, but she was dead serious on following through on this journey she started off on.

Shay lightly whacked David on the shoulder by his horse comment, and laughed. "Come on, you know I was just kidding-- I'd never hurt my, or simply any horse for that matter." She said yet she was grateful that he was coming along with her. She could always use the company, and just knowing someone had your back, was rather comforting as well. A part of Shay wondered if he knew how she really felt and sensed things, and another part of her wondered if she was alone, in feeling them too. But she pushed those thoughts out of her mind, "The shadows are, only the place I like to play in." she said with a winked and saddled up her horse, along with a few necessity needed for the journey. She added other utensils and tool just in case, and hid the poison pouch from David. She got on her horse and smiled, "Ready, cowboy?"

((Yes it is...I'm quite I'll for the moment but getting better. That's the reason for my absence.))

David didn't answer for he had nothing to say. He followed her with the same speed as she held. Keeping himself just a couple of feet behind Shay. As they hunted David checked his bow so that he would be ready to use it when needed.

Before David came close to the guards he dressed himself as a hunter did. Showing noting but the lower part of his face and the fact that he carried bow. Yet other then that there was nothing to see. Apparently had Shay announced his coming so he came quickly through the gate and he could tell the guard was happy to get free fast. Some seemed to have dark visions of hunters it seemed. They wasn't only assassins.

He found Shay quickly enough and sat down next to her and looked at her, well at least she should be able to tell that he did. "Shall we enter the portal or do you wish to grab your breath?" His tone was sincere caring about her health and not patronizing her.

David notice Shay shook as she placed her hand on his thigh. He wouldn't mind at all even though she took it quite hard it seemed. Yet this was not he place to take anything big up. As it where David did not mind it at all. He sat down a next to her and looked around and waited until Shay was ready. It was quite nice to sit down so he was grateful for Shay wish at this point.
