"I'll have all the stories you want to hear, m'love, I promise," he said, laughing as he rubbed his chin lightly against his own neck where she had nipped it. Leaning down, he nipped back at hers, that smile never faltering.
"We should probably get an early rise tomorrow then, so we can start looking. We might have a long time, but I still want to find somewhere.. perfect for raising our cubs." He nodded at the word, glancing out at the horizon as if it held the key to the future. They would need a safe place, with lots of accessible prey, and a water source that wasn't too far from whatever den they chose. He knew he was going to be picky, and the sooner they started, the sooner they could be ready to welcome their family into the world.

"Oh, yes." She smiled brightly. "nice early start so we can go looking for the perfect place for them to grow up." She knew they'd find somewhere that was wonderful. She wasn't sure where yet but it would be somewhere out there.
The fates had brought them this far and she was sure they'd give them just what they needed now too. "Perhaps we should head for the thicker jungle? There might be somewhere near the area and it would be good for teaching them to climb"

"I think the jungle sounds like a good place to start," he said with a little smile, leaning his head lightly against hers with a small purr. "It should have good shelter, good food, and water. Of course, lots of trees too, so you can teach them how to climb." He couldn't climb, so that would have to be her job entirely.
He smiled and cuddled himself closer to her body, laying his head down comfortably on his paws as he let the thoughts of everything they had to do roll over in his mind. It was a long road ahead of him, but he couldn't wait until he got to the end.
