Ka smiled a bit sheepishly at that question and shook his head. "I ... not yet. I wasn't sure you were like. Allowed to switch over like that." Upon thinking about it, though, it made sense.
After all, if someone wasn't suited to the path they first chose, the school wasn't likely to force them to stay in that path.
"I guess that I should talk to him, though, hm?"

"I don't see why not," he replied thoughtfully. "We're supposed to enhance our natural skills, not struggle. But maybe I'm wrong." He added the last part jovially; if the complaints of the other students were to be believed, it was torture to do the work at all. He was just an odd duck, he supposed.
RuiZhi nodded enthusiastically. "You should! He's very nice. Or Heru Irame, she's very sweet and can answer a lot of your questions." He knew it could be intimidating talking to an Advisor such as Dante, but he himself had never had any problems with rank or hierarchy. Things were as they were, and the teen was content to accept it all at face value.
"I could introduce you to one of them if you really wanted," he added kindly, just in case Ka'hmesh was the shy type. He didn't seem to be, but it never hurt to be nice and offer, just in case.

Ka thought about that for a moment or two and then nodded. "I'd like that, if you would," he replied with a smile.
He wasn't really shy, per se, but it helped sometimes to have someone else do the introductions and such.

"It'd be my pleasure," the Chinese youth chirruped cheefully. He found himself paused in front of one of the doors, the one he'd have to return the book to.
RuiZhi smiled at Ka'hmesh, tapping his fingers along the spine of the book. "Well, this is my stop," he said with a bit of apology and reluctance, "but it was sure nice to talk to you again, Ka'hmesh. I'll make sure to talk to the teachers and see if I can't arrange a meeting. I'm sure they'll be thrilled."

Ka nodded at that and stepped back a little, so the other would have room to open that door.
"Sounds good to me," he replied with a quick nod and a smile. "Thanks again."
