Didn't everyone see a lot of animals? "All the time," Diego agreed. "Birds, rabbits, little lizards and snakes and things. Those are hard not to step on," he mused.

"glad you take the care to try and not..." She mumbled something about his size and oaffness under her breath a little. She stomped the ground a little, and she chews on some grass. What possibly could sheh ave in common with him? She looked around again.. "Have you see another other Usdia around?"

"I didn't hear what you said," he told her when Forte started mumbling, but then she moved on and he followed right after. "Nope," he answered, shaking his head. "Haven't seen any other little mares like you. Did you lose them?"

"I wouldn't really know. I'm still pretty new to the area. I've only made two friends since I've been here." She looked up at him. "I heard this spot was fairly popular, and I was hoping to make some friends." She laughed some. "But I guess for a larger horse my informant wouldn't have taken notice I was looking more for others my size..." She laughed again.

"Oh. Well. There must be more around somewhere. Even if they're not here right now. That would be odd, being the only little mare in a whole big herd of the rest of us, wouldn't it?"

She laughed some. She knew that. "Well of course there are others, I guess I just asked the wrong person, there might be another place where Usdia hang out. " She twitched her ears. "That I wouldn't know, I'm the only one in my 'herd' my human doesn't have any other horses." She looked up at Deigo. "Are there any Usdia in your herd?"

He thought about it -- as if he had to -- then shook his head again, mane swaying. "An alicorn. A grounded mare. But no little ones." His ears drooped a bit. "Sorry."

The image of Deigo as a pimp popped into her head, causing her to make a little bit of a face. They were probably more like sisters if anything, she assured herself. "Ah. nothing to apologize for." she looked at him happily, and just then her stomach growled. She had been so excited about meeting others, she had forgotten eat. If Liberty had know, he might have scolded her for rushing off and not eating. "Oh goodness.." She laughed a little.

Diego certainly wasn't going to offer the girls out to stallions passing by. If they found them on their own, that was one thing, but offer? No. Dia would kick him. Hard.
He flicked an ear at Forte's growling stomach, then laughed.
"You should eat," he told her. He thought about that, then added, "I could eat, too."

She looked at him and then over the trees and then at him. "Well, not to sound rude or anything, but if you hadn't noticed, I can't exactly reach the apples in this field." She laughed a little. She wondered if the field or area where the usdia hung out would have apples and other things closer to the ground. She remember the berry patch Liberty brought her too. "Do if you'd be willing to help me out a little, I would love for you to join me."

Diego perked up. "Apples?" He twisted his neck until he spotted a tree laden with the fruit, then looked down at Forte again. "I'll help," he agreed. He'd get a few choice apples for himself, too. "Come on!" He turned and started heading for the food.

Forte eyes him, and soon followed after. She couldn't quite pinpoint it, but there was something about Deigo that just irked her a bit. Not enough for her to dismiss him completely, but enough for her to be a little guarded. She trotted over to the shade of the tree and instantly felt cooler. "Being tall like that, must come in pretty handy."

He had a branch between his teeth and shook it until a few apples plopped off. Of course, he tried to answer too, which sounded something like, "Mff amphf bff sfgh."
No, it didn't make any sense to him either, so he let go and tried again. "I've alwaye been this tall." That didn't seem right. He twitched an ear. "I was little, when I was little, but I wasn't ever really little."

Forte made a point to avoid getting hit by the falling apples. She looked over at Deigo and she nodded a little. "Well I knew that much~ I mean for me, i was tiny, and still little." She laughed some. "Its nice being able to to be taller, easier to do and see things in the world." She picked at an apple and she took a bite.

"You should have wings," Diego opined. "Then, even if you were too short to get what you wanted, you could fly for it. Flying makes things easier too." He crunched into an apple of his own.
