Albert_Zepher Wow. Well.... That was interesting to say the least. I would, however, prefer it if everyone would please try and abstain from such vulgarities in my guild. I get the fact that there is misunderstanding and hostility between you too, but if you really want to go to the lengths of cursing at and insulting one another, I ask that you would please keep it to private messaging, and out of the public's eyes. ooh! Someone learned some nifty vocabulary!! Yeah...he's not worth my time or effort, so if he has any grievances, he can take it up in a PM (not that i ever check them...)

Hmm...well, I'm not that sure Baulder likes me anymore either...although, I do have to say it was rather childish to quit like that. Amusing though.
I think, if you want a fresh start you might want to try aiming this place at a wider demographic. Because, think logically.. Who would be searching for a LoD/Inheritance cross over? Then, get it known, get people here who are curious. Cause something big that will attract attention. Competitions and prizes and stuff are good things to bait people with. Then you have to maintain the commitment...which is probably the hard bit.

Yeah, the broadening part is pretty much the reason I opened this thread. I wanted to get everyone's ideas about ANYTHING that could help the guild, including, but not limited to, adding different stories or genres to the guild.

Perhaps Star Ocean? In my Fanfiction, that's what I'm mixing LOD with. In truth, it works well because Winglies use symbols for magic and so do people in Star Ocean. And I always imagined magic attack items in LOD being little spheres with symbols on them. Turning LOD into a fantasy/sci-fi mix just seems to work.

Perhaps the mods have to emulate specific characters from the games just to enhance the...how do i say this..."cool-ness" of the guild? (i can't believe i'm trying to help, but whatevs...) Also, have some games goin on...ice breaker topics in an RL section?

It seems to me like your just straying from what the guild really is in order to attract a different audience. If thats the case, your not reviving the guild, your just making a new one...
And Meru, I don't need to be in Saxxon's guild to smear your name. I find you do it quite well by yourself. ~__^

Baulder, haven't you read that Albert wants to change the guild some? Meru is on the right path and I like her ideas.
By the way, Meru, all of the Star Oceans occur in the same Universe, but at different times. 2 is just a few decades after 1, and 3 is several centuries after 2. My new idea for my story occurs a decade after 3 and 10,000 years after LOD.

The things you guys are adding things that have nothing to do with LoD or the Inheritence. Seriously, whats an LoD/Inheritence fan to think when they come in and find nothing to do LoD or inheritence? We're practically straying into the monstrosity that was DD's guild.
What we need to do is work on strengthening the things we already have. Not add all this new stuff. Thats just adding more rubble to the junkyard.
And Isidar! I hadn't noticed you'd posted. Must've missed you with all my spite being aimed at Meru. But no, I have no quarrel with you. Not unless you wish to bring any up.
Same for you too Meru, but I must say, my dislike for you will probably never cease.

Albert isn't just confined to LOD and Inheritance. He could change the name of the guild to anything he wishes. Al has decided that the LOD and Inheritance topics are a bit to narrow, and we need to try to attract a broader audience.
I'm really getting tired of trying to diffuse this situation, so I'll just put this bluntly. Baulder, you are being an immature p***k. You are doing everything in your power to make sure you can ridicule what Sammi says, and it's just getting annoying. Don't think you're better than her just because you can make more sophisticated insults, because that only makes you seem arrogant. I think Sammi is a bit more mature than you since she's just avoiding talking to you.

Even though he has the free reign to change the guild's topic to whatsoever he pleases, SO has nothing to do with LOD or INheritance... To you, I have been the immature one? Then it seems to me Dragoni, you have been blind. I will say no more, for if you've been unable to see it despite the fact that you have been in this from the very start, then you wouldn't accept any of it regardless.
So I guess it comes down to this then, whether Al decides the old guild is to be scrapped for something else entirely, or whether we stay as we are and work on other matters.
