When he fell silent she glanced up at him once more, smiling, the move had been subtle but unless she was crazy she felt some distance between the two of them close. It was alright, for some reason, despite everything she had struggled to teach herself over the last several years of her life, she was comfortable skating beside him. She caught a glimmer of blue as his bangs remained parted, "I almost forgot you had eyes hidden under there." Her mind ticked over what else he had said to her before forming some sort of organized-ish response. "People appreciate it more if it's a little smoother, it seems more practiced. And what are you talking about, not that bad? I elbowed you in the stomach, how you could even breath after that, I don't know. But... I guess I can't harp on it if the other person is saying it wasn't a 'biggie'" she gave a gentle laugh and shook her head. Her face fell slightly however as her mind fell over the final comment before his question. "When I was little, I was taught being different was a bad thing. Being the same was better, and less troublesome to those around me," she mumbled, giving a sigh.
Forcing a smile, she stood up a bit straighter, "But, I guess there are a few people out there that don't believe that, other than my brother you are the only one I have come across that hasn't teased, prodded, sneered, or stared at me like I'm some sort of circus side show." By the end she was smiling once again, for some reason, his acceptance and claim that it was okay... No, that is was harder and more rewarding to be different, made her feel so much better. "Oh! I almost forgot to answer your question. Food wise, I'm not really picky, I like trying new things and all that jazz."
She took a deep breath, today had turned out wonderful, her reluctance earlier to go out in the sun had all but disappeared as she walked with Yo. It was odd, night time had always been her ally, her cloak, her friend, but now daytime wasn't seeming like such an enemy anymore. Why did she feel so... Attached? A little bit of nervousness bubbled in her stomach, what if they saw her with him, what if they tried... She didn't even want to think about it. Those that she hunted only came out at night, there was no way that they would know that someone other than her brother had managed to get close. Clutching his arm a slight bit tighter, she tried to stamp down the feeling, it was just because she was paranoid and she knew it. "So have in mind where we are going?" she asked, smiling, the nervous feeling dissipating.

Yo glanced down to her and casted a soft gaze. "Hey people who say that are just afraid of words if you think about it, they say words are nothing compared to pain but i think more pain comes from the thought of others than it does... Like an action can be described in a word and pain is only four letters." He stated shrugging a little; having a nice place in mind he quietly and quite swiftly turned the corner spinning her infront of him and tucking one of his legs under hers, picking her off her feet and into his arms. A small chuckle elapsed his lips and like nothing had just happened he continued skating down the road peering at her everynow and again.
"How'd you like the veiw?" He teased as the shop came into sight, it wasn't the best place but for a first casual date, it wasn't so bad they could take it out and chat by the canal or something that way they weren't with many people which he knew she was uncomfortable with, it was quitet, peaceful and there wasn't much distactions at all. "Chinese sound good to you? Unless you'd prefer something else?" He stood by the door and looked down at her with his blue eys a wide grin on his face and his sharp teeth peeking out for the first time in their aqauintence.
He could tell she had been thinking about something since he'd met her, something she wasn't telling him, just how she was a little far from the world a bit like him, there was more to her than meets the eye he had guessed people hadn't seen that but quite honestly it made him more interested to learn about her some random girl you fall into whist forthe first time you loose your mind in some alternate world and she has a background? Wow what a lucky day and it was getting better by the minute, life was like a new best friend... it still had its faults though and inside he felt one of the biggest brewing rapidly.

She had to resist the urge to let out a yelp at the sudden movement, never before had someone taken her by surprise like that. One moment she had been skating beside him thinking, the next she was falling backward and in his arms. Instantly she slid both arms around his neck, feeling unsafe without doing so. Being carried was not something that occurred to her often, especially while the other person was skating. At his question some of the tension slipped from her shoulders, but she didn't release her grip, "It's a different view of the world, that's for sure..." Her ears twitched lightly as the sounds of a grill and pots slipped through the closed door. "Chinese sounds great actually, it's been a while since I've had it." His grin was infectious, she found her lips parted just as far and showing just as much fang before she even realized it. Embarrassed ever so slightly, she looked away.
Tail swaying back and forth gently, she glanced at the place again. It didn't seem so bad, maybe it would be alright to eat out, not as bad as the last time. After all when her brother wasn't with her, people were less likely to notice her. She didn't know if that was the same for Yo, but as she glanced at him again, she had to think twice about it. Who wouldn't notice someone like Yo? There was just something about him... She swallowed, forcing her eyes to fall back onto his despite her embarrassment, "So what are we doing? I go where you go obviously," she smiled and gave a gentle laugh, gazing up at him.

"Hey I'm not that bad, just sweeping a lady off her feet." Yo nodded, it was strange how she avoided his gaze whilst onyx bangs swayed back and forth between it. Was there something wrong? 'Ah' the delicate shine of a large pointy fang slipped in the suns bright glow, it wasn't like his chunky and predator made but slim and gave the sense of haste. He knew cats had fangs but hers seemed different, they weren't the average fangs for such an agile creature. Curious Yo slipped back into a semi-spacious glance; continuing through the door the man greeted the two of them happily throwing an arm and a small flick of the wrist in hello, the large wide grin reaching ear to ear and the sound of steam, stir fry sizzling from the pans host swept the room along with passing through ears with ease.
"So! May I help you both?" The chef asked, a table scurried around the room in a circle with multiple chefs cooking all around. It was like a wooden counter but it was also large cooker too. They cooked the food in front of you, it was more like they liked to show off their talent in cooking but there isn't anything wrong with that.
"you'll find out, its a secret for now" Yo winked in prior to her earlier question. "So anything particular you fancy or am I going to have to take a wild guess?" naturally playful teasing came so freely with this girl she was on the same wave link more or less. It showed to be that way at least. In wonder what might of tickled her taste buds he scanned the menu guessing what she might of picked, with a small, out in space, chuckle his eyes narrowed down to Amaya's with a soft stare. "Feeling uncomfortable?" He asked. It was odd at first when she hugged his neck it was a surprise, taking him a back but as the journey had continued here it was more comfortable to him. He hadn't been hugged in a while he had forgotten how alive and wanted they made you feel - Even if it was just a semi-hug and nothing but panic was meant in doing so.

"Secret huh?" she asked, looking a bit thoughtful as her mind ran over the possibilities. Her gaze flicked about the room, taking in all the sights quickly and expertly, whenever she walked into a closed area she scoped for possible escape routes... Just in case. It was more paranoia from so many years of living than actual danger however, and she cursed herself for doing it each time. After a while her amber eyes fell back onto Yo as she considered his next question, "Take a guess. I'll tell you that I am by no means a vegetarian, that's your only hint." She teased right back, which was odd for her, teasing and playfulness never came easy, not after the events of a few years ago. She stamped down the thought before it could go any further glancing at the menu herself.
His next question made her smile a little, "I was at first, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to drop me now so I'm alright. Just a bit worried about your arms though, I can't be that light. Are you uncomfortable? I feel like I might be violating your personal space by holding onto you." In truth, after the initial shock and worry, she had decided that she didn't mind it so much, and she really didn't need to worry about him dropping her. Fear fluttered in her belly again, it was dangerous to feel so comfortable around someone. Swallowing she stamped it down just as she had the earlier memory and smiled, "We must be a rather odd sight."

"yup a secret" yo answered with a small smile looking down at her, his glance soon switched back up to the man asking for there order and he thought a moment, ears flickering each way before he finally decided on a nice set meal for them. "How about... Chicken Chou mien? With some stir fry on the side? Where taking it out too, so think you could box it up for us?" he chuckled, his gaze flickering down over Amaya. "Sound good to you?" He thought he'd get that first before, stepping back and tapping the front wheel of his blade against the cold floor.
"Naah I've lifted much heavier things, so don't worry about how much i can carry, or if I'm comfortable, because your light as a feather" he started in honesty with a wide smile even if she didnt he wouldn't of admitted it though. If he wanted he could do something that would really tease her but he felt better if he left it, he didn't want to scare her and it was something he could definitely use later. His tail flicked side to side seeing smoke rise from the kitchen part of things. The smell was so delicious he could f probably gone back there and given it a go himself, but he wasn't the one to usually cook even if his father had said it was great on odd occasions maybe the nicer side of him.
