Leaf Village:
They hit Rasenga, which triggered a violent explosion, setting everything within 500 meters a blaze, criticaly injuring most people as well. No sign of Rasenga could be seen other than a flock of birds flying from the trees outside of the village gates.

*Shunketsu stood amidst the flames unscathed, and neither were his clones...his barrier was especially meant to suppress fire...since he had to use something to protect himself from his own flames...he retrieved his fuuma shurikens*
kuso...when did he get out there? no one can get around our ANBU detection skills unless he was at a high level...
*Shunketsu motioned for the smaller half of the uninjured ANBU(which turned out to be 4) to come with him, another 4 to help the injured, and one more to go sound the alarm and get the Jounin to come after Rasenga...*
*Shunketsu(his clones had disappeared) and the 4 ANBU took pursuit of Rasenga...they were running/jumping from tree to tree at full speed...*
::meanwhile::
*the Hokage stood back up, and went to change his clothes...which had been burnt...he returned to his office and pulled out another scroll...*
Hokage:*sigh* Even though I'm a Kage, people think they can still ambush me...do I even remotely look like I'm 12 years old?...*he went back to his paperwork...*

Rasenga made his way toward the border of Rice Country, hoping by now he had lost the is assalents. He checked on the scroll which was still securely located within his sash, and he also slashed through the leaf on his forehead protector.

*Shunketsu scanned ahead...Rasenga was nearing the border...going for Rice country...*
dammit...he's headed for Sound...I can't let him take the scroll...
*Shunketsu sprinted for Rasenga...and after a while, Shunketsu could see Rasenga far out in front of him...Shunketsu was still lagging behind...but not for long...*
*Shunketsu threw a small shuriken aimed for Rasenga's sash...*

Rasenga dodged the shuriken just enough, and looked back.
"Damn him..."
He kept running untill several Sound ANBU appeared and ran straight for Shunketsu.

damn...he's reached the border...we'll have to pull back soon...but that is our property he's taking with him...
*The Konoha ANBU that followed Shunketsu intercepted the Sound ANBU and they started duking it out...Shunketsu followed Rasenga...*
ok...this is where you stop...
*Shunketsu performed a few hand seals...and took out two shurikens with wires on them...and threw them at Rasenga but they flew past him...*
Katon:Yomi Haraize!(Fire Element:Hell's Retaliation...a move similar to Katon:Ryuuka no Jutsu, but characterized by the sudden changes in direction as it follows the path of the shuriken...which in turn is moved by the flow of chakra...)
*2 speeding blazes rushed along the wires, at the same time that the the shurikens turned back and headed head-on towards Rasenga...A single Fuuma Shuriken was also thrown towards Rasenga from behind...*

Mist
Tomasu was walking home towards the kawashi esate after a day of missions for the mizukage, but as he left, he heard shouts and a large commotion coming from where he'd been.
He waited until all went quiet and sprinted down passed the Mizukage's tower, toward the gates of the hidden mist.
He saw a scroll on the ground as he ran passed and picked it up. He resisted the urge to read it and threw it to one of the slower members on the ANBU whilst he continued running...

Tomasu ran without stopping until he eventually came to a point that he'd never come as far as before, he was lost.
He kept wondering forwardand heard the distant moans of familiar voices.
He ran forward and found 5 of the 7 ANBU persuers badly injured, 1 dead and 1 other no where to be seen.
Tomasu's eyes burned with anger seeing his comrades like this.
"Kuchiyose no jutsu" he said quickly, summoning a small serpant and commanding it to fly to the village, alerting any available teams to come for the injuered and dead..
Tomasu quickly chased after the masked man after finding out what he looked like and what direction he ran from the least injured of all involved. Without thanking him, Tomasu ran off into the wild scrub, following the odd foot print he saw on the ground, but whoever it was was clever, and knew that someone would still be after them...

Rice Country
Sidori continued runing, furious that he was found out before his mission was complete, and more so at the fact that he'd failed..
he was on his way to the rendezvous point in the rice country and heard the sound of battle from a few hundred meters away.
he crept closer, unheard and saw the sound and leaf at each other's throats.
He could also hear familiar grunts of an idiotic comrade as he fought someone.
Sidori leapt into the trees and rushed to where it was coming from, spying Shunketsu and Rasenga's battle. 'Argh, i'd better heklp him out.." he said quietly as he leapt out of the tree, aiming a powerful kick at the unsuspecting Shunketsu from behind.

(ooc: finally had time to read this so I guess I'll chime in too ^.^ and I'll just use hinata instead of making a new character)
Leaf Village
: surprised utside of the walls of the leaf village, under the shade of a large tree, hinata snoozed. It had been days since she had actually rested. She had pushed her body too far this time, and it had taken much longer to heal. All in order to become more knowledgeable::
it'll be worth it in the end ::she thought silently to herself as she slowly began to awaken. Best to get up before sleep took her too far and the nightmares started again::

*Shunketsu's Namigan's sonar detection detected another opponent from behind...he released the wires and let his flame attack do as it will, which was to continue to run along it's path until the chakra ran out...it was still headed for Rasenga...and his Fuuma Shuriken was still headed for Rasenga from behind as well...*
*Shunketsu turned and kicked back, deflecting his Sidori's kick and then, stepping on the thigh of Sidori, landed another kick to the side of Sidori's head...sending him cartwheeling away to a tree...*
not good...it's two on one and they currently have the home turf advantage...sure wish I had some backup...Rasenga should prove difficult enough, but now this one appears...he appears to favor taijutsu because his sneak attack was an up-close-and-personal kick...stealthier ninjas would have used a weapon or a jutsu...I may have an advantage against him if his taijutsu isn't up at my level, but I can't concentrate on him alone...Rasenga is at a level where he could sneak past ANBU detection...If things prove too difficult, I may have to sound the retreat...but I'll see where this goes...
Katon: Honoo Bunshin no Jutsu! *Shunketsu created 8 clones around him...5 would go after the newcomer...3 and himself will take Rasenga...*

As Sidori hit the tree there was a puff of smoke, and a large log hit the tree, and richoched off.
there was a crackling noise from Shunketsu's right and all of a sudden..
"RAITORA!" (Lightning/thunder tiger) a bright yelloe toger, seemigly made from electricity pounced at Shunketsu, and behind it stood an unharmed Sidori.
"Foolish boy, you think I'd attack an unknown opponent in close combat head on like that idiot there?" he said calmly, indicating Rasenga. "A rea Shinobi takles his time, lures out a place for an attack and uses all advantages to there fullest."

Tomasu kept following the tracks and had obviously gone a long way around as he had mised two ANBU squads fighting, but came to a small clearing where he saw a strange man dressed in black along with two more Shinobi from Konoha, although one had an unscathed hitai-ate whilst the other's was slashed.
His anger almost made him jump down into the midst of battle without thinking, as it was what he'd normally do. he stopped and began concentrating chakra, readying a basic but effective jutsu in case he was attacked, or needed to attack...

*Shunketsu didn't expect both of them to be at such a high level...it was going to be tougher than he imagined...*
*Shunketsu dodged his way away from the electrical tiger...and landed a few yards away...his clones joined him at his side....*
kuso...I guess I have to rely on something besides straightforward taijutsu
*Shunketsu and his clones pulled out some smoke bombs...primitive, but effective if used correctly...when the smoke cleared...half of Shunketsu's clones were gone...*

There was a visible smirk from behind Sidori's mask as he made a seal with his hands. "Rai Bunshin no Jutsu!" ((I klnow there probably isnt a technique like this, or the raitora, but I dont know many from the hidden cloud so im making them up lol))
He made ten lighting clones of himself and spread them out aound the battle area.

Tomasu watched on, waiting to see what would happen next, looking for a time when he could attack. dammit! My water techniques are going to be useless against lightning, Ill be the one that gets more injured. Although they are both far more powerful than a chuunin like me, i may be able to hold off the fire attacks from that big guy for a bit if Im needed down there by that guy.

*4 clones burst forth from under Sidori...grabbed him, and exploded...*
Step One...complete...
*The clones and dug into the ground and tunneled under Sidori...the reason Shunketsu and another four clones were still standing there was to cover the holes that the other 4 made...*
*Shunketsu looked around at the trees*
Step Two...complete...
*Shunketsu then looked around at the holes in the ground...*
Step Three...complete...
*Shunketsu then signaled to the 4 clones by his side...and they nodded and surrounded Shunketsu and formed a defensive position...but it was rather lax and seemingly useless...Shunketsu himself did nothing...*
*Shunketsu then revealed a small wire he had been concealing...the wire was held between two fingers, and it ran all the way into the holes made earlier...*
Konoha Gauntlet...Level One...Begin...
*Shunketsu set the wire ablaze, and the flames ran along the wire faster than anyone could think of what to do next...the flaming wire ran along the tunnels made by the clones earlier...which was a rather extensive network had exploding tags all along the passages except for the middle part, where Shunketsu and his four clones were standing...the wire set off all the exploding tags and the ground around Shunketsu exploded in a pattern, blowing up most of his surroundings within the area they were in, but did not extend to the trees...*
*When the smoke cleared...most, if not all of the rai clones were gone...and there was a still-flaming scar etched into the ground...it was a Konoha Symbol...Shunketsu and his clones stood in the middle, unscathed...*

((Psst Shunketsu, You do know we arent meant to be a match for these guys yet right? Just wondering ^^ lol. We should wait for Shabang to post now, otherwise it will be as if Rasenga isnt there lol.))

A figure dressed in blacked met Rasenga than ran off after meer moments, and Rasenga turned and took on the clones, he used his brute strength to begin with, he put hs arms out with hopes of taking some of the clones.
[Sorry, I've got alot on my plate, Ookami, if you want you know the basics for each person, you can take them over if need be.]
