Hmm.... well....
Chaka continued to eye him a bit, but she seemed to be caving in terms of accepting his offer. She -could- use the help hunting, and he seemed harmless if not a bit over the top at times. Besides, it wasn't like she was completely helpless if it really came down to it.
"Distracted, huh...? Surely you have more self control than that..... but I don't have any particular destination, so I couldn't possibly impose..." She finally admitted.

The male laughed softly, the sound rumbling in his deep chest.
"Of course, but what's the fun of self-control? It MUCH more fun to surrender control... even more fun when its a pretty girl surrendering it to me." He teased as he winked at her. Was he serious or was he kidding? Hard to tell what the rogue was thinking at the moment.
"I have to destination in mind either." He replied as he waved a paw expansively, brushing off her protest. "I wouldn't be going anywhere I didn't want to go, nor would I be passing up somewhere better to be. I'm a carefree traveler, my dear. What's one place over another? Besides..."
Zeus grinned as he planted his paw and leaned close, his cheek inches from her own so his voice was a base rumble in her ear. "I'd like to get to know you better, Beautiful. You're so stiff... I bet there is a fun-loving girl under that tough exterior."

Zeus clearly, fully understood the true meaning of the word "perseverance". Really, he just didn't give up did he? It worked though, even if only in wearing her down to the point that she was tired of refusing. She drew back and stood up again, something about either his words, his proximity, or the combination of the two putting her on nervous edge. She opted not to acknowledge the last bit.
"Fine, fine. For a little while, just until we reach a more populated area. Then we go our separate ways, right?"
Besides, by that point he'd have found someone else to hit on, and probably be well on his way weather she wanted or not.
The pale lioness swiveled her neck and head enough to give him the eye calmly, waiting for him to agree to the condition she'd set so that they could get a move on.

Pg-headed was often a word used to describe him. Dogged, tenacious, willful, mulish... all aptly described him. Persistant was too tame a word. He felt her resistance cave and something primal in him roared triumph, a grin spreading over his orange-streaked face.
"Wonderful! Sounds quite acceptable to me." He chuckled as he rose, any sign of the feigned injury gone. "When you are safely in the company of others, I shall feel my duty fulfilled." Zeus was happy to agree to anything she asked, now that he had gotten what he wanted. Besides, it wasn't like he was looking for something long-term. This would work out just fine, oh yes.
"Lead the way, my dear." He murmured, bowing his head graciously to her.
