Bel sat back and watched Ren go through the stones he'd uncovered. It wasn't a big enough pile for two searchers. When she showed off the dull black rock he smiled and praised her find. "I know Isoke will love it knowing it comes from you. I'll be sure to tell her all about you," he said.
He was setting aside the black stone and a few that had caught his eye when he heard her growl. When he looked up she was in the water. "Rennoa!" he shouted and leapt to the edge of the spring. He reached in and scooped her out surprised for a moment at how heavy she was. When he had her safe on the grass he couldn't help but laugh at the sight of her clutching her precious arm fulls of rocks. He gave her an affectionate lick just as he would Isoke when she did something adorably silly. "Come on now we can't make it a habit for me to be rescuing you little one. Perhaps I'll suggest some swimming lessons when I bring you home." He grinned and nuzzled her.

She had smiled as he said about his sister. She wanted to make an impression then! So the black one was her pick. It was her favorite.

Rennoa's eyes squeezed tight but once she felt herself being lifted- She opened her eyes wide gasping for air and laughing. "Heh. That was fun!" Once she was set down she held the stones for dear life still unnoticeable why her arms felt like tons. Her tails half was water and half fizzed up. "huh? Saved me? From what?" She tilted her head and looked at him questionably. The lick he gave her- made her cheeks all sorts of colors but mostly pastel red. "I had something fo- Oh yea!" Her fur was soaked to the body tight to her. Smiling wide as she remember and held her arms out- "See.." She said before falling on her face. "Oww..mew.!" The lil kit letting go of the rocks and quickly gets up blushing and rubbing her nose. Moving and looking crosseyed at her nose.. Moving it in a circular manner and sneezes~ Surprised at this the child's eyes go wide then shaking her head at the unbelievable sound that the sneeze made. Squeeky.
Then she looked at him with on eye.. then the other followed- they were soft. This kits eyes.. like her mother. "Oh.. Whats swim? Is that water." She blinked questionably. "Da teaches stuffs .. fishing?" Then she looked down at the several rocks and stones she picked up. Yes, stones were different than rocks. For her. Rocks were normal things you find everywhere. Stones. Were something different. Smooth.. and pretty.. Se picked out one almost immediately. A deep blue and rushed it close in a hug.

Belial shook the water off himself and wondered that she didn't seem to know any water safety at all. "Water can be dangerous little one," he began to explain patiently. "You don't want to be stuck under because there's no way to breath. Swimming is a way to move through water thats too deep to just walk accross, while keeping your head above the surface." Then he noticed that she was still soaked. "Give yourself a good shake Ren," and he demonstrated a few droplets flying. "See it gets the water out and you'll be able to move easier without all that water weighing down your tails."

Ren stopped to hear the male.. Then she looked down at herself. Indeed she was soaked.. She put the rock and stone piles down and shook as hard as she could.. Become a fluff ball at the end of the vicious shaking. Then quickly she started licking her fur down and pawing at it.. As a cat would- was her mother not one? Her father? She kept licking softly.. The fluff on one side minorly going down and silky.. "Ma does this.. " Her ears went down in a soft concentrated look. Licking at her tails some.. But they were too soaked for her.. Mother. Could she help? She shook her head at this thought and looked up at him. So much bigger... Heh, he was fun.. and knowledgeable.
"Well if its dangerous then da always goes in to water! I dunno.. is he there now?" Started flailing a lil bit then calms down reminding herself that he was teaching Hiro a few things and her other siblings the last she saw them. "Oh..Not now. He is with my siblings." She said softly with a smile... She was completely devoted to her family.. And loved how they were such a bonding family. Herself trying to me like her mother and trying her hardest. She and her brother Kimi were the most clumsy of the four. So she tried her hardest to become graceful.. To make Kimi proud and her family. To be like them.
Not the odd one that couldn't control her tails.. Not even for a second. "how do you know all this Belial...?"She looked up at him.. then down as she stopped licking herself down to find the stones from her pile. "heh.., So i just have to keep my head up.." She said softly, as she repeated the head up' while swimming part. Recording that in to her head even if it might slip away.
Her body was half slicked down and shinny as the other half was damp but fluffy, she looked odd this way but seemed to care little as because her mind was set on something more.

"Water can be fun too, you just need to play it safe," he replied not wanting her to be scared. He moved to settle down beside her, trying his hardest to find the driest spot. "How do I know so much?" he repeated her question amused. He'd never been considered knowledgable before. "I just learned as I grew up, just as you are little one. I didn't have loving parents like you though." He watched her dig through the stones. But finally her appearance got to the meticulous ulaya who was always so proud of his own appearance. "Come here Ren, let me help with your coat and you can still look for a pretty stone for you father."

Her ears shot up as she turned and looked at him. "Hm..?" She looked at her coat. "Oh.." She smiled softly and curled in front of him obediently.. She wouldn't go finding a stone.. Cause she'd be moving when he was helping her with her coat. She looked up at him, turning and facing him completely as to wait for the grooming to be initiated. her tails wagging around happily for she loved to be groomed..
Heh, usually her father was found grooming her. Loving family.. who can live without it.. "No loving parents? Parents always love you!" She looked at him a lil in the parents defense, she never knew wrong could come from parents except for Jeiyana's imagination getting to her. Where Jeiyana was scared that her father ate her mother... and sibling. Which wasn't true at all. She put a paw on his chest.. Looking up at him. Her ears pulled back. Her badge fur fluffed and her black fur almost silky now.. But the hair on her head.. Was always smooth and soft..Long. Covering her eye; it slipped in front of her face but she lightly pushed it back with one of her damp tails so she could look in his eyes completely. Examining him. and could admire him from way down below.. Heh.
Yes.. there was something about him that made her stomach crawl.. But She ignored it like she did and kept smiling to him..Hopeful to help him somehow..

Belial wondered what it would be like to one day be grooming his own children. Would they be precious and full of warmth like Rennoa? Was it possible for him to be a good parent, its not like he acctually had any example of it. As far as he knew his parents were the ones responsible for his scars. He absently scratched his ear and looked down to find Ren looking up at him into his eyes. He smiled again, wondering just what she was seeing as she looked at him. She didn't seem afraid or even uncomfortably curious about his differences. It was a completely new experience for him. All he could compare it to was how he was with Isoke. She teased him, but still stuck by him. "Its ok Ren; nothing for you to worry about. I don't remember much about them really so... You're very lucky little one," he replied with a slight pout in his voice if not on his face.
"I don't think I can do much for your tails," he said laughing, trying to lighten the mood again.

"Mmm." She smiled at him then looked at her tails. "They're hopeless. They're so mean!" She took a dive at one but only ended up biting air. *Sigh* "....I could share though." She straightened herself and looked down at her chest. Under that black and badge fur was a heart that was so grand.. So open to let everyone in. "I could share my heart right. luffring. I have that." She nodded looking to him and extended a paw to his cheeks after pushing up on her hind legs. Almost to his level... heh still so short.
Big heart lil body.
"I have lots of it and we could share!" She giggled some.. even if she was serious.. She tried to convey that high spirit for him.. Maybe to make him feel better. She wouldn't have the subject changed so easil-
"I could fix my tails! Trouble but i can!" She had lost complete concentration for the male and regarded all her attention to her tails. Conveying such a serious note of devotion was so deep.. yet the child was to little to not be distracted so easily. She got to work on them.. Leaning in to his grooming a little as she licked her own tails innocently. "Mew..mew.." She blushed though- after saying such a thing but she didn't put much thought in to it- neither did she notice. "Nya nya." She purred softly; her ears going up then down. Then when she was finished with one, it quickly curled around Belial's paw. Then she worked on another. This child.. was loving. A Transparent love that to one could mean a lifetime but to others could be drowning.
As she was grooming her other tail.. She remembered his eyes since she couldn't directly see them. She closed her own in a pensive state. Everything was gone and she was trying to register what was in those eyes. What was he looking at with them? Wondering how deep they went and how he saw things. Was that... normal? To be thinking.. like this? Her mind in to a 'mind space' That was just sparking.. Her mind then went to how he was looking at her. 'Am I helping him? I can give him some! Ma said I had a lot!' She said in her mind. 'He won't have thoughs hurts no more!' Determined even for her own mind.

Belial just blinked at her. She was so giving. "You have to be careful who you share with," Belial told her as he continued grooming. He didn't want any hurt to come to her from any source, and included himself in that. "I promise I'll always watch out for you," he whispered into her ear. It was all that he could give her in return right now, but like her he meant it. Deep inside he questioned his own motives. What's it matter? She's just a kit, she'll probably forget about me in a few days. the more cynical part of him said, while another sought out ways to draw her closer.

Ah she finally finished off her tails by this time. Looking at them; and minorly approving since she almost had slim to no skills in grooming herself. Ma and Da always did it for her. When she leaned back on him- She heard him. It echoed through her body then then soft words when he spoke in her ear. They slanted down and she leaned completely on him.
"...Ren.. Doesn't mind... Giving Belial lurffins.. I has a lots anyway! See!" Pointing to her heart. She leaned in to his cheek and gave a small lick on the cheek. "Heh well if you protect me then.. That means I dont need to be careful then." She laughed softly. Heh, what he gets for being so close to an affectionate child that was raised that way. She put a paw on his ear. "Heh.. Well If you watch over me then that means Ren can watch over you too! " She smiled brightly and nuzzled against him.. Flailing her tails about.. Her fur being more smoother now that she was being groomed. Having the fur like her mother- it shinned after being padded down.
She giggled at him. His words had gotten in to her heart and she extended that same to him.. Though now. Something started turning. Her heart..Making her laugh softly and giggle... She couldn't help it! The feeling in her tummy just made her laugh! She wondered.. Did he feel those things? She looked at him. Watching just how he was. After watching him for a few moment she felt her body slowly falling then finally fell completely head first in to the ground, her tails flailing around as her tummy was faced up.
Pawing at him with her back paws and pawing at his chin with her front paws; sticking out her tongue. Playful now more than anything since she was laughing already.

Bel chuckled. "You still need to be careful," he said nuzzling her playfully. Within him the jealousy rose as he thought of the loving family she must have for her to be so sweet. He felt dimmed by the radiance of her affection. He blinked away such thoughts. "Of course you can help my sister watch over me," he replied. She was like Isoke just younger that was all, he reminded himself. Something about mentioning his sister made him feel a little more at ease.
He laughed and pulled his head up out of reach of her paws. He stood gently sending her into a roll. Then he danced about, his spaded tail flickering as he caught her playful mood.

Rennoa started laughing as she was sent in to a roll. Once she stopped; she quickly recovered- bolting out of the bundle of fur she had made herself. Landing softly on her front paws first, then lightly turning to him. "Ne?" She giggled and jumped to him; she had a wave to her body because the many tails. Slipping under him quickly and trying to grab his tail. DODGE ROLL! She threw herself from under him; and landed safely for once and turned back to him quickly. "Heheh! How bout if I dun WANT TO!" She laughed softly jumped beside of him trying to snag a paw at his ear.
Height difference! She tried again and failed yet again. "Hey nu fair!" His words hadn't completely sunk in... Til. now.
She stopped almost immediately all her play as he was in front of her. Her stop lagged her behind and she looked up at him. "....Help?" She looked at him and retorted a paw to her chest.. Something felt a weigh in her chest when he said that.. Her ears going down and her tails flailing around her. She shook her head a bit and smiled up at him. Another side to the coin of her name. Possessive particle. "heh Nothing!" She said quickly and dodged to the pile of stones- taking up the black on for his sister. She was great at sharing.. but something.. She pondered it only for a few seconds before she looked at him with the stone in her maw. "Sis ne." Trying to smile with the stone in her maw. Her tails whirling around.

She was a quick moving ball of fluff and Belial laughed. "Just as I thought when you don't think about the tails they cooperate," he observed. "What you don't want me to be safe too?" he pouted teasingly. Then he frowned as she suddenly stopped. "What's wrong?" Her mood changed quickly again as she returned her attention to the stones. "Oh now which one did you choose for your father?" he asked noting she carried the one for Isoke. He noted a spark of color himself and pawed through pulling out a shiny black stone with lines of white. He stepped over to the spring to wash it off a bit and in the light it almost had a red tint to it, like his paws. He admired it then looked at Ren. He hid the stone in the fur behind his bracelet before returning to the pile with a secretive smile.

Ren couldn't help that.. Possessive emotion but she didn't want to show him that.. Just like with her brother. He had. Friends. She shuddered at the thought that they would be taking him away.. She had that connection.. and was beginning to connect to this male slowly but surely.
She leaned down and put the stone in front of her. "Hm?" She tilted her head at him. "Oh. Oh nothing." Smiling brightly as she turned. "I dunno Da's favorite color...I never thought to ask.." She gave a sigh as she went in saw the most beautiful blue stone there ever was. Blue. Like her jewel. "This one is for my Hiro!" She took it with one of her tails and curled it tightly. The brother whom meant life or death to her. Then she looked about. "I think... One with all our colors would be nice." She looked for one, and though it didn't look exactly like their colors. Multi colored with different patches of badge.. With one black spot on it. "This one I think would do." A Pair? She took up another that had similar and curled it in to her other tail. "I think thats it." She smiled then bounded next to him.
"Hm? Oh my tails.. Sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. They're meanies like that." She took a swipe at the one that wasn't holding rocks. Looking up at the male, something. Hm? Mysterious about how he kept something hidden within his eyes. "WHAT!? OF COURSE I WANT YOU TO BE SAFE!" She ran up to him quickly and buried her face to his side. "Of course i do.. I don't want anything... happening to you. Course not. Not Ren.. Ren wouldn't." She nudged her head and face into the thick black fur that soon became white from where she was. She hadn't even taken in his tease before she realized what he said...
"You.. would be careful.. won't you.." Her ears slanting to their sides..

"Its ok, I'm just teasing. And I'm always careful dear one," he told her nuzzling her. "Have you decided on all of your stones?" he asked eager to get her home. He was sure her family would be growing worried at this point and the longer they delayed the harder it would be on him. "Umm.. who is Hiro, your brother?" he asked tilting his head curiously.
