"Alright" Arturo says leading them out of the room. He doesn't want to fight, but it is no secret that outsiders are all bloodthirsty. He touches the scars on his jaw and shivers.
He leads Bleu up to Upper Reaches

+++Dzan was about working quickly as that little inner conflict happened. It was lucky he was in the Unity Field or his nose would be bleeding and everything would've happened all over again, but it was suppressing it all. He knew for a fact Khorne couldn't do s**t while he was here and it gave him a jump in his step to a degree and he gathered even more tapestries to use as a rope.

+++Dzan grabbed enough tapestries and ran back up the stairs to present them to the rest of the team. He was still muttering the prayer beneath his breath to keep Khorne off of his back. Though, part of him wanted to succumb to that blood lust and kill the ********, but he was definitely fighting it off.

Chen enters into the palace, taking a look at its white-gold design and the destruction of the glass above. The place looked serene, aside from that, but he knew even the nicest of places can hide the darkest of secrets. Entering into the audience chamber, he stops, looking above. Left, right, down, and up, his eyes following the pillar as it goes toward the ceiling.

Athan hit the palace dome and gave the place a quick glance-over before deciding that there weren't really any signs of explosions on this particular level. There also wasn't a whole lot of commotion, which meant he was either late to the party or everyone was dead.
Athan shrugged, leaving Chen to his investigations.
Athan made a bee-line for the stairs.

His right hand comes up, literally able to feel the "invincibility" field over this place. He learned of them from the reports on this city, and automatically felt the presence of it the moment he stepped into its boundaries. It was an interesting aspect.
His eyes catch Athan walking up the stairs, but for now, he will stay below, deciding to walk toward the altar to make more inspections. When there was an audience chamber, there were usually a main throne or stage. Maybe he can find something there.

Chen would find a great throne against the pillar, but no evidence that anyone had been in this room since the population vanished.

Empty thus far. But looking around, hoping no one was watching (out of self humor), he walks up to the big throne, and sits down into it, snuggling his behind and rest of his body into it, placing both hands on the rests. Sitting back, he pretends he's the God Queen himself, or God King.
"Comfortable," he comments, looking over the rest of the chamber. From here, he would just sit and think for a moment, his fingers drumming as he tries to think of something else.

Removing his handy-dandy trusty map from his coat, he unfolds it and looks at where he was now. Moving his finger toward the southwest, he makes note that he can get to the University Dome through a tunnel in that direction. It seemed all the domes were connected in someway. Standing up from his....no, her throne, he walks in that direction, moving across the audience chamber to exit it.

Chen enters back into the dome, and looks about. He looks left then right before, seeming to be in some deep thought as he tries to put things together. He needed to find something. Something that was meant to answer what had this Unity field up. He looks toward the throne, remembering a passage he read from the "On the Nature of Gods." Looking back to the audience chamber, he walks back into it, heading toward the throne he sat at before.
"She would not leave the Unity Field...she's not the source...she was protecting something. But what?"

He was sort of pacing now.
"Happy Restings...Happy Restings..."
Turning around, he begins a jog out of the Palace Dome, heading to the Central Fields.

Finally entering the palace doors, Valkyarc stopped to eye his surroundings and didn't see anyone else around, except for some Asian jogging past him back the way Valkyarc had came. Awkward, he thought as he looked further head to see a staircase.
"Might as well." Valkyarc began jogging himself and quickly went up the staircase towards the upper reaches of the palace.
