Kru moved closer to her, close enough to press his head under hers (curse his shortness). Even while pregnant, he could not help but want to be close to her, want her, desire her. If she wasn't pregnant, he would have already whisked her off to the den.
"That's true, lets just hope it is small.... maybe smaller than me so I dun feel like a little runt to my own children. That would definitely be awkward," Kru chuckled as he licked her back lovingly, nosing her shoulder as he settled himself back down beside her. As she spoke he did so, imagining the cubs running all around with them, pouncing and rolling, laughing and growling. Then he imagined a son, growling up to be tall like his mother and strong like himself. A daughter who was stout like he was but as beautiful as her mother. His mind was running with ideas and thoughts.
A smirk came to his maw, as those devious blue eyes glanced at his mate. "Sounds like a perfect plan to me, after all, you won't be expecting cubs again for a long time after these are there..." he hinted, pressing a paw softly against her womb. He thought he would not whisk her off to the den, but...
"Alright, Mrs. Pregnant Alula, it is time to get you back to the den~" He purred softly, nudging her shoulder softly. As he started to move away, he let his tail drag along side her to signal the follow signal.
Hey, she did it to him before.

At Kru's words, Alula giggle softly. She could just see it now, all of their cubs being taller than Kru, oh what irony that'd be. "You know, Kru, because you said that all of our cubs are going to be taller than you!" She teased him lightly and then nuzzled against him with a purr.
Then she caught the smirk that played on Kru's features and knew what was on his mind. Afterall, she was the one that had caused it in the first place. Just because cubs were on the way, she didn't want to break the connection that she had with Kru. As he spoke to her, she perked up and stood, "I think are you are right, Mr. Father-to-be Kru. We both need to be well-rested and energized for what is to come." She felt a shudder pass through her as his tail played with her side. Not wanting to miss his touch any longer than she had to, she moved after him and walked next to him towards their den.
