He said it with a chuckle, seemingly joking when he was down to earth serious about it.

That one made him stop in his thoughts. Part of the attraction to Hannibal was that he was a guy. Common sense cut in though, and gently reminded him that Hannibal might be a guy, but Joe needed to be immortal if he wanted to dance with Hannibal, and death as it were.
"It will guarantee my immortality?"

He arched a brow.
"Is immortality your price?" He asked softly. That he tossed around in his head. It wasn't the first time Joe danced with death.

He tilted his head sideways at Arioch, unsure of if he wanted to know what was going on inside that mind.
"Yeah. Can't play with a cannibal and live to talk about it after if I'm mortal this time round"
He knew his limitations. Part of the reason he was still alive despite the risks he took, was because he was aware of them. And even from the very short conversation with Hannibal, he already knew that he could not survive the encounter.

Depending on which, if it was for eternity, Arioch was going to ask for a bit more on his own end other then one of them being a girl for a night...

He asked, sounding surprised. It had not occured to him that such a thing might be possible. All he had really put thought into was a fool proof way to not get killed by Hannibal. And that fool proof way was dealing with Arioch and gaining the one thing that would be useful for him, immorality..

Arioch nodded. "Of course...Forever immortality requires a higher price... Temporary immortality requires a contract such as if something happened to you you'd loose it."

As far as he could see, if it was a once off not dying, he could quite likely pull that one off with a bit of luck and careful planning.

Joe thought about hte offer for a moment. Turning into a female was something he'd never done, though was an acceptable cost to get with Hannibal. Giving up his child's soul.... child's.. soul.. child's...
"How long will the female thing last?"

Children.. he had not planned on children. Yet, if he wanted to get with Hannibal, he'd not only become female, but in order to turn back, would have to have children.
That, he could almost handle. Sacrificing his own offspring though..

He just wanted to verify that he had understood the chaos lord right, that there would be no misunderstanding. And of course, in the process of clearing that up, had mentioned the name of the male he was interested in.
"What would your plans be for the child?"
