Jace grabbed a marshmallow, slightly heartened; she hadn't even remembered kicking in the metal doors, just that she'd done it, high on adrenaline and terror. It wasn't really anything compared to being the unholy channel between ghost and reality, but it was, well, kicking doors in.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm here all week," she said. "Dig the legs. -- Hey, maybe we could experiment. Try to trigger you blacking out again, or making the words do s**t. Scientifically."

Irelia was physically unimpressive, so she fawned over Jace's ability to destroy things with brute strength.
"Hmm," Irelia pondered Jace's suggestion. Last time was hella freaky, but maybe this time they could do something not so scary, "I guess we could experiment. But you gotta promise me that if it goes bad you tell your mom. It would be utterly crappy if you blamed yourself forever."
Irelia was being melodramatic. But the sting of Harper's death was still fresh and Irelia knew how much danger the two of them were in if it went south.
"Lets try and summon fluffy bunnies. Nice, soft, PINK fluffy bunnies."

There was a slight shaded scowl at the corners of Jace's mouth, grim at the mention -- even lighthearted -- of Irelia carking it. Harper still hung awkwardly between them, very dead. "Yeah, yeah," she said. "M.B.'ll get first memo. How d'you think we should do it, Rel? Find old words for you to grope? Maybe the cemetary -- then again, that's just like, an open invite for zombies."

"I don't think that would work, zombies or otherwise. I mean, when I touched those letters, there was so much rage and horror in them that it felt like that horrible man had left a part of his soul on that wall. Cemetery's would be crappy for this sort of thing, since you don't, ugh, carve your own tombstone."
Irelia thought hard for a moment.
"Wait. We might as well try anything. I don't even know how I did it the first time so who knows? But lets NOT do something scary. Until we can figure out how to fix my mistakes."
"My vote's still on the pink fluffy bunnies. Early birthday present for Wisp."

Wisp's ears perked up. "A birthday present?!" she said. "For me?"
"Yeah, sure, short stuff," said her older sister, sniggering. "We're getting a birthday present. Just for you."
Pink fluffy zombie bunnies.
