Shino, who had been sitting in the back of the room quietly this whole time, finally looked up and out of his thoughts to see Kiba at the door. He smiled, but of course no one would notice because of his huge coat collar and glasses.. not like anyone was looking at him anyways.
He hoped Kiba wouldn't get in trouble for being so late for class.

Sasuke watched Neji fatal attempt to knock himself unconcious once more. The Uchiha couldn't help but feel the sudden urge to go over there and check to see if Neji was alright. But he was Sir Cool and remained seated. Entrance of Kiba was expected. Why was he late? This caused Sasuke to daydream again.

Kiba inhaled deeply, straightened and grinned back at Naruto, jumping over to the blond loudmouth. "Hey, Naruto! Did I miss anything?" he asked cheerily, pushing back the furred hood of his grey hoodie to reveal a dark brown mass of hair that stuck out in every possible angle. It looked as if it hadn't been brushed this morning, which it hadn't, not that Kiba cared anyways.

Neji clutched at his head, tenderly rubbing the spot he knew would have a goose-egg on it before long. His eye twitched again, the fine hairs on the back of his neck rising as he felt every last pair of eyes shift in his general direction.
It was about then that Inuzuka burst into the room, diverting the focus of the class away from him.
Kiba's interruption was a destined gift from the gods, Neji reasoned, as it gave him time to recompose himself while the rest of the class was distracted.
But, he thought after a moment, running a hand through his hair, careful to avoid the sore spot, if everyone's looking at him, why do I still feel like someone's watching me. . .?

Neji couldn't take it anymore. The atmosphere of the classroom had become too much for him to handle. If he was going to get through the day, he would have to be heavily medicated first.
He stood up abruptly, wobbling a little as his body became used to standing upright, head throbbing dully.
Oh yes, a nice strong analgesic was something he was looking forward to.
Marching up to the cluttered main desk in the front of the room (and decidedly ignoring the rest of the class, not to mention the teachers), he hastily wrote a hall pass and excused himself to the clinic.

Kiba quieted momentarily when Neji abruptly stood up, swayed slightly, made himself a pass and left the classromm before anybody could protest ot stop him. 'What's up with him?' he thought before resuming his loud discussion with Naruto.

Naruto watched with Kiba as Neji strolled out of the room, looking half-dead. He gave his furry-hooded friend a 'wtf?' glance, but then discarded it and continued his conversation as if it hadn't happend.
"What's up with the teachers? There just standing there like idiots..." Naruto commented loudly, almost wishing they would hear.

"Yeah! Ain't anything gonna happen soon?" Kiba answered Naruto equally loudly. It seemed as it had been useless to hurry to school this morning, nothing happened anyways...
