She laughed quietly at his remark, "Well they were, at least until I saw those!"
For a moment she had forgotten that the stallion had seemed quite agitated upon first meeting. She, only for a moment, wasn't intimidated by the large male.
His last words, brought her back to the fact that this stallion wasn't quite like the others she had met in the past. She suddenly tensed up again slightly as she realized she could be pestering him with her questions. Some soquili didn't take well to the overly friendly type.
"No, no Sir." She quickly looked back to the ground and shuffled her front hoof. "I'm sure I've taken up plenty of your time."

"You have," he replied, still watching her. He wasn't as irritated as he had been, the stripping of the tree had helped. Still, he wasn't the sort to stand around and have idle chitchat. His white tipped ear flicked, and he tilted his head at her. "However, I have no pressing matters to attend to." That was his way of saying that no, she wasn't bothering him. At least, not at the moment. That could quickly change at any moment of course. And it wouldn't be hard to do so.

Looking around quietly, Tuli stood there for only a few moments longer. She didn't have any good reason to stay and bother the stallion, she lowered her head and quickly have a soft nicker.
"I appreciate you taking the time to speak with me, I'd better be on my way now though."
She wasn't use to speaking with strangers really, especially those that seemed a bit more reserved than the soquili of her family. She lifted her head again, meeting the stallions gaze.
"It was a pleasure to meet you. Perhaps our paths will cross again one day." Her mother had told her to always part with pleasantries, even if the situation didn't call for them.
