Skye had been looking at Suzura, but she felt vibrations coming from Syrus's direction and turned her head to look at him, trying to read his lips, but all she managed to catch was 'what little practice I have had with it.' She was about to ask him to repeat himself so that she could see what he had said when she saw Suzura begin to sign with her hands, and she looked back at the tiny girl.
She smiled and giggled at Suzura's compliment. "When I first learn how to dance," she replied, her eyes sparkling brightly, "I get very dizzy ... but my teachers, Tristan and Yuki, they teach me good tricks ... when I twirl I close eyes so can not see what goes in circles. No dizzy."
But she was also getting used to the action in general, and it was becoming easier and easier to spin without getting dizzy, even with her eyes wide open.
"But not dance so good now," she added sadly, plucking at her skirt. "I grew ... one week ago ... have to practice to be good like I was before ... taller now, dancing harder ..."
Though she still wasn't particularly tall. True, she was a teen, but she was barely taller than most Seconds were in their child stage. Her height didn't bother her, though; she knew it meant nothing.

"So I guess we interupted your practice then..." Syrus said apologetically. "If you want, you can go back to doing that..." he suggested. He hated the feeling that he had stopped her from getting used to her older body and getting better at doing something she enjoyed.
Suzura waited so that Skye could watch Syrus say everything before she 'spoke'.
'Or perhaps we could watch you? I think that would be fun' she commented.

Skye smiled softly at her new friends. "It is okay," she assured them. "I practice lots at home-"
She broke off, seeing what Suzura was saying, and she flushed slightly, a red blush sprinkling across her cheeks.
"You really want watch I practice?" she asked softly, clasping her hands behind her back and fidgeting with them. "If want, you can ... or maybe can do something altogether? No one left out?"
She turned her blue eyes from one to the other, wide with hope and eagerness.

'How about you show me a few steps then? You do something, and then I will try to do it. That way, you can practice and we all can do something together!' Suzura signed rather excitedly. She then looked at Syrus.
'Do you want to learn?'
Syrus fidgeted. He wasn't what one would call graceful. In fact, at times he was rather clumsy. He really didn't want to embarass himself, but Skye looked so eager, and she was really nice.
"...Sure..." he finally stammered out. "That is...if Skye doesn't mind"

Skye's blush deepened at Suzura's suggestion, and even more at Syrus's own shyness.
"Well," she murmured, "I maybe not good teacher ... but ... if you two want learn, I can try ..."
Though now that she was thinking about it, though, she had to admit that Suzura's dress especially looked like a costume from a performance she had watched with her family once ... perhaps a bit longer, considering her feet were covered as well, but still it was very pretty and would look nice for a dance.
She nodded then, more certainly now. "Yes, I will try teach you, if you like."

'This is going to be fun!' Suzura said. 'And I am sure you will be a good teacher. It will give you practice too,' she signed with a nod, then looked to her brother, who was nearly as beet red as Skye, which amused her. She then took quick notice of Skye's height for the first time. She honestly thought Syrus was the shortest teen she had ever seen, but he had about an inch or so on Skye. How interesting...
'What kind of dance do you dance Skye?' she then asked. 'Does it have a special name?'

Skye giggled and turned her attention back to Suzura, her blush fading now that the attention was no longer focused on her.
"Yes," she agreed, "it will be good practice for me ... I not have much chances to teach people, but Mama says, good practice, teaching people."
She saw Suzura glance between her and Syrus, and her brow furrowed slightly as she wondered why, but then Suzura was asking another question, and it completely slipped her mind.
"I dance ballet," she explained, signing the word as well, just in case it made things clearer for her newfound friend. "I ... am trying learn new trick for my teachers, but I just learn so I not very good yet."

'Oh! Ballet is a pretty dance!' she signed with a great big smile as she wiggled off Syrus' shoulder finally and fluttered haphazardly down to the ground, seeing as her wings weren't big enough for proper flight. Still, with how wiggly her decent was, she landed quite gracefully.
"A...new trick?" Syrus asked, finally speaking again. He honestly was slighly interested. "That sounds...nice...I mean, interesting...H-how does it go?"

Skye giggled at Suzura's flight, her eyes fixed on the girl's beautiful white wings. She was so transfixed on her that she completely missed Syrus's question, and too late she felt the vibrations that meant that he was talking to her. She looked up at him, her blue eyes wide with curiosity.
"Pardon?" she said politely, as she had been taught. "I did not see ..."
And she reached out her hand once more and touched it lightly against his throat so that she would be able to feel his Adam's apple vibrating against her hand and more easily understand his words.

If Syrus was good at one thing, it was adapting to odd situations that ended up helping people. If they were just odd, he'd freak out, but he knew that this helped Skye understand him, so he wasn't so stressed.
"Your new trick you were talking about. How does it go? How do you do it?" he asked again.

Skye smiled brightly and pulled her hand back again, putting it behind her back with the other one. "Oh," she murmured, shuffling her feet shyly. "Well ... it is not much of a trick yet ... I asked Goddess Minty last week if she can teach me spell, hide my wings ... so ... for trick, I hide wings for dance and then at end, show them and fly a bit."
Her cheeks reddened again, embarrassed this time. It wasn't much of a trick, and she was well aware of the fact, but it was the first one that she had ever thought up and so she did sort of want to try it.
Not that her wings would stay hidden for long enough yet.

"I think that sounds pretty," Syrus said with a slight nod. "When you get better at it, you should let us know so we can see it...I mean, if you wanted us to come that is..."
Suzura sighed a silent sigh, then looked at Skye again. 'What was the first step you ever learned? I want to see it and try!' she signed.

Skye giggled at Syrus. "Of course, I would like you to see!" she said enthusiastically, reaching out and taking his hands in her own to show her fervency. "I like dance for people, I like show people what I learn, and you are my friends now, right? I like show friends what I learn!"
She caught the movement of Suzura's hands out of the corner of her eye, and, still holding Syrus's hands in her own, she smiled down at Suzura. "You want I teach you what I first learned?" she asked brightly. "I was just little, like you, when I learned, I was just new Surprise!"

Syrus merely flushed slightly and nodded his head at the fact that he and Skye were indeed friends now.
Suzura nodded her head a great deal. 'Yes, that would be perfect, to learn the first thing you did when you were my size! It is the best place to start!'

Skye giggled and released Syrus's hands, kneeling beside Suzura.
"It is not hard," she smiled, holding her arms out to her instead. "Come with me, I will carry you to where it is good for dance ... tall grass is not so good, it makes it hard to move sometimes, and easy to fall."
She smiled up at Syrus. "And do you want to learn, too?" she asked brightly. "Or just watch?"
