Having an egg is...an interesting experience. It's hard enough having felines and canines running all around you, but an egg needs extra care. Especially since it's one of a special species. I've learned this in one of the harder ways....
My life has been rough lately. Having Irry around is a blessing, but troublesome. There's no child screaming at me (yet), but it's hard knowing if you're keeping the egg padded enough , kept out of reach of curious cats, and out of the way of rambuctious dogs. I think I've done well, so to say. Irry's little room isn't much set up at all, it looks more like the first day of moving in. He's got a little cradle for him to sit in for now, but the few items I've gotten for him are still sitting in their boxes. I haven't yet decorated the room, since I don't know what it is he'll like. Why spend all that time when he'll hate it. I've been keeping everyone away from him for now, mostly since I don't want visitors, and I want to make sure he's safe! Call me a fretting mother, I don't care. I just worry...which is probably not always the best thing, hehe~
Anyway, I'll make sure I write more! Sian is getting on me about writing...guh, I have the worst memory for anything, I swear. Hopefully she won't have to chew me out too much... heh...hehe.

Safaia sneeked into her home, acting as if she was trying to hide something. That something....wasn't very easy to hide. It was a fairly large black kitsune, following Saf into the home. The kitsune seemed buzzed with excitement about her new home, and as soon as Saf had closed the door, the female kit began to bounce around. Saf shushed her, and dragged her off towards where Irrylath's room was. The little egg hadn't stirred in quite some time, and Safaia feared it was because she hadn't given him enough of her time. She'd been a little occupied lately, and running so many shops while going to school took so much of her time! She was hoping that the kitsune she brought along would help pick up the slack she herself had dropped. Sneaking into the room Saf turned on one of the lights as Maya wandered in, looking around at the barren room. She must've been judging up where her new place of residence was now, and seemed to give a little nod of acceptance, even if it was pretty bare. Maya curled herself around the little cradle that Irrylath rested in, as Safaia checked on the egg. It felt a little warmer, which was a good sign. She gave a sigh of relief as she reached down and gave the little kitsune a scratch on her head. "Take good care of hi for me, Maya." Saf gave another little, more content sigh and slinked out of the room, knowing that she had many chores to do within this one day of time to herself to get things done.

Today made me smile. While I was out taking care of my Erras herds (which are all doing well, thankfully), I had a sudden thought about what it would be life once Irry had finally 'hatched', and what could happen when he was older. Would he hate me, like a lot of kids do towards their parents? Or would he find me amazing, and always cling onto me? I hope for a boy who's independent, can take care of himself, but isn't scared to come to me when needed. Strong in his heart, and knows where he wants to go....but hehe, where am I going with this? I know I'm going to love the little bugger no matter what he becomes, since he'll practically be like my child. I'm excited for the future, and can't wait for what's to come. And speaking of which, Maya is practically trying to drag me into Irrys room! I guess he's being a little restless. it's kind of hard for me to tell, since he's still in his egg form....I guess Maya is really connecting with him. I'm glad. Until another entry~ Safaia

"What the....?!" Safaia stared at her little egg, just wondering how the hell it had gotten out... here. She looked around and noticed that she was about a 1/2 mile away from her home, and somehow Irry had just...rolled himself away. Maya had dragged her out here, this early in the morning, just to discover why she was in such a rut. The little egg had been rolling a bit until Saf came into view, and had gone silent while she drew near. The neko-girl shaked her head and bent down to pick up the egg to take it back home. "Silly thing, you should be home where it's much safer for you!" She had picked up the egg, and began walking back to her home when the egg wriggled a bit. She was starting to lose her grasp and sat him down back on the ground. "What's wrong?" she asked the egg. It didn't reply, but instead just rolled a bit, side to side, acting as if it was just restless. Saf thought to herself as she watched this, Maya making sure that Irry didn't just roll away from Saf again. Hmm....he must not like being home so much, that might be it. I guess it could get boring....but where would she take an egg? She kneeled down next to Irry, smiling softly and speaking to him with kind words. "I bet you're sick of being home all the time, huh? Well, if you promise to come home now, I'll take you to the park tomorrow, okay? We can have there and get out for a while. How does that sound?" The egg had become silent again, unmoving. Biting back her tongue, Saffy felt frusterated with the egg. She could never quite figure out what it wanted, and Maya didn't seem to have a clue this time around. She bent down and picked the egg up, Irry still quiet as can be. "I guess I'll take that as a yes, no?" She slowly walked her way back to the house, chattering on about how fun tomorrow would be so littlr Irry would keep quiet, listening.

"Ugh." Safaia rolled out of her bed, thinking she's at least land somewhat on her knees. No such luck. THUD! Groaning on the ground, Saf rolled onto her back, wincing at the bright sunlight that woke her up. Sure, it wasn't really morning anymore, but the sun wasn't leaving her alone. She slowly started to get up... "Oww!" She thunked back down on the ground. Did she have a hangover? Oh wait....she doesn't drink. So that didn't work...oh. Yes. She had been sick as could be for the longest time, unable to function well without blacking out. She inched herself up to a sitting position and saw Maya watching her, curious as always. Saf blinked back the tears of her headache before pulling herself up, ever so slowly, inching towards the kitchen. Maybe some good strong coco could get her to feel better hits morning. She saw Irry's egg lying in the middle of the floor as she padded by. Hmm...that was different. Why worry about it though? He seemed to be getting smarter, staying out of the way. As long as she could just get to that Coco...
She turned on the stove, and had a pot of water ready to boil. Kettle? Who could afford one of those? Saf yawned and flopped herself on the counter, groaning about how tired she was, blah blah, dumb stupid stuff. Irry had rolled himself next to her feet, but of course she wasn't paying any attention. As soon as she turned to get the water when it was bubbling.... THUD!...back onto the ground. Of course, there was no carpet here, and she had actually landed on Irry. Snap! The egg started buzzing, worsening Saf's headache. "Whhyyy....ugh, go away, Irry. I feel sick." Irrylath slowly rolled himself away from his adoptive mother, sensing that Maya had dragged herself in also. Weird how they were both feeling sorta dead. Saf didn't fel like getting up, instead just watching the steam dissapear from her pot. "...well, so much for hot coco this morning." Saf just lied there, too tired to really move...

She had blacked out for a while, much longer then the other times. Irry and Maya watched over Saf as she layed, knocked out for hours upon hours. The littl egg and kitsune couldn't do a thing for her except watch her, amd nake sure she wasn't in any danger. Hard to believe, but some of her pets did hold a grudge against her.
--------------------------------
Much late into the night, Safaia's eye fluttered before opening. Her head had only a dull throbbing to it, strange since it hadn't cleared up in weeks. She slowly sat up, her eyes twinging in the darkness when she was expecting light. How long...had she been out? Her eyes soon adjusted to athe dark though, as she saw Irry and Maya curled up near her, sleeping. So she'd been out nearly all day....that was something that had definately not happened before. But she did know why...her memories had come back to her. Not all, she assumed, but enough to throw her off her loop. Saf pulled her knees to her chest and hugged them, rocking a bit as she thought of what she'd just remembered. Sudden flashbacks of black robes, flashy shords, and war. Well, the beginnings of war. She really couldn't remember else, but she was starting to remember who she was, her life she had forgotten. It wasn't sitting in her well. Had her sickness been just her memories pushing to be remembered? Saf pulled herself up to her feet, and turned on her stove again. She really needed that cup of hot chocolate now. As the water was starting to simmer, she turned at looked at Maya and her egg, Irrylath. Her usual blisfullness would drop, her life turning around. She had forgotten her life, had never known how she landed on the world of "Gaia", but had enjoyed it thoroughly. She had met her closest friend only days after coming here, and many other friends that had never questioned her past and lack of memory of it. Everyone had seemed to come from all different places, ending up here...so why did she have to remember her past life? Her thoughts jumbled into one huge mess, she quickly made her coco and sat back on the floor watching the quiet egg and it's guardian sleep. Sipping the coco, it's steam reaching up into the air, Safaia sat there all night, watching her two special kids as she thought about her past.

It's been a few days since my big blackout. Things have been going well, and our lives are getting patched back together. Maya has figured out how to drag Irry with her, by sticking him in this old wagon of mine, and having me hitch her up. It's really cute seeing them run around (well, more like Maya running) the field out back, scaring the Erras or other critters that happen to be around. I'm still worried about my flashback, since I'm assuming that they triggered it, and not just my mind. So I fear for the saftey of everything I've built. I guess I'll just have to learn to protect it, I guess. I can't just bum off everyone to help me. Just not right. Oh, I think Irry and Maya are coming back, must be lunchtime. I better not only get stronger, but be a better mother! Irry sure has been in his egg for a time, but it's 'cause I just don't take care of him right, and he's not ready to come out. I don't know why I even try sometimes...
Now I think they ran into the wall then stop, great!
