Warrior of Metal If I'm ever in Finland, I'll be sure to be your personal driver. Sweet. You should come over now and drive me to my work for 8 am and pick me up at 4 pm for the next 2 weeks.
Oh, and I probably forgot to mention that petrol is ridiculously expensive here. Along with everything else. biggrin

I'm currently driving my mom's car around, so she provides gas. All of the Americans b***h about $4/gallon, but they don't realize Europe has is WAY worse. I'm not gonna be complaining.

The complaints are because the prices are much higher than they should be. And it also drives up the cost of everything else, especially since Diesel costs so much more (which is bullshit since it's actually cheaper to make).

I'm not gonna be complaining. I think distance may be an issue there, espescially in the west. I mean, when you live 60 miles from the nearest city of any size, you can't exactly hop on the subway. Also, since gas had risen enormously to reach $1.77 by the time I started driving (and I'm only 23, so it hasn't been THAT long) I think the fact that gas prices have RISEN so much in such a short time is what has people riled up. You can't really triple the price of something and expect people not to complain.

I see why everyone is complaining, but it could be a lot worse.

I drive at least 60 miles everyday. I can complain about high gas prices is I want to.

Plus it's not just that the gas is going up, it also raises the price of pretty much everything else, since it costs more to transport it.

I used to have to commute about 70 miles each way to work. That gets expensive.
