"Curses," he said with mock disappointment, snapping his fingers in a motion to fit the act. "I told you though, every woman's a whore, a b***h, and generally batshit crazy. The amounts just vary along with time, I guess, but still... I was right." Of course he was, he'd watched enough people while sitting on the allotted street corner to know this. People watching will always be a glorious time passer and teacher.

There, the steak had been consumed and thoroughly enjoyed. Naolin leaned back in his chair, careful of his wings as he took the can from her, simply sipping it for now. "I think a bath would be perfect, and I was planning on staying here. I've done it before."

Naolin let her speak, taking to thought everything that she said. It was a perfect offer, and this seemed almost too good to be true. Still, he had his reservations with living with a bunch of girls, though it would be convenient while he sorted things out. She had many a good points, to say the least.

Clearing his throat, he smiled, "What makes you think I'd beat up on little girls? I'm not that cruel and low." The teen took another sip of his drink before actually getting around to answering her question. "Let me think this over. I'll have an answer once I stop attracting flies."

"Ah, a child to corrupt, we just might be in business," he chuckled, having stayed for a moment before heading upstairs, and it was hard to tell if he was joking.

While she prepared to wash the plate he leaned on the door frame and watched silently and thoughtfully. "Why are you doing this for me?" Naolin suddenly asked, raising an eyebrow. For all she knew he could have gone way crazier and go all Hannibal on her a** later that night.

He made a huffing noise at her speech, and planned to utter a snarky comment when she mentioned showering and winked. Perfect! The hummingbird teen offered her a smirk, "Maybe one day soon sweetheart." Blowing her a kiss, he made his way upstairs, and even though he knew she had been joking, the teen was pleased with himself.

An hour after he had disappeared upstairs Naolin returned hauling a very battered and squeaky suitcase that he had left a long time ago. It had taken some searching, but eventually he had found it stuffed in the back of some closet. Victory, was his.

"What are you waiting for? The night is young and we could bang some out while still getting some decent shut eye if we leave now." Scooping up his leather bag and jacket, Nao grabbed a few Red Bulls for the road and eyed her expectantly, whatever she may have been doing.

"And that's why women shouldn't think," he replied matter of factly, stuffing the drink cans in his bag and peering up at her. A quick grin manifested itself with her next comment. "Patience Ms Mommy Hottie, you've got to earn this." As if on cue, his wings gracefully stretched as if showing off to the MILF.

Mimicking her chuckle, Nao followed her to the car and did as she said, dumping his suitcase in the trunk before walking around to the passenger side. He stared for a moment before shaking himself out of a trance and sliding cautiously into the seat, minding his tailfeathers. "It's been a long time since I've been in a car," he said quietly and mostly to himself. It was an odd feeling.
