He liked to watch the stars but refused to admit it, surely it wasn't a guy thing? Then again she did it with her grandfather but....? He was just too concious of himself, he was so use to messing things up.
"You have an older sister? Same. I have two sisters and two brothers." Kweli smiled he didn't really think any of them were exactly bossy though. They all seemed to get on well.
"I don't think any of them are really bossy though. We just get on!" He wasn't sure if she would want to know about his family but he really didn't know what it would be like to have a bossy sibling. He guessed they just all managed to get on because their parents were so well soft and gentle. He didn't know but he had no issues with them.

The young lioness never would have thought less of him were he to admit he enjoyed watching the stars as well, why should she? How could something that her own grandfather and father enjoyed possibly be un-manly? She may have thought it silly to be ashamed of something you enjoyed, and even sillier to think less of someone for enjoying it.
But the subject had already been changed, so she did not think as such.
"I have four sisters, I'm the youngest."
Her paws shifted nervously as she answered. Though she had grown, matured beyond the insecurities of childhood, it was still difficult to compare herself to her sisters. Not that she didn't love them, or that she would have ever traded one for another, it was just different when you were the youngest sister to triplets. Silently she wondered if Alasari had ever felt as she did.

"Wow lots of girls!"
He only had two sisters and he loved them of course but they were annoying as all sisters were. He wasn't quite sure what to think about having 4, oh dear, no he didn't even want to imagine it. he use to play fight with his brothers but he didn't see them much anymore. He wondered where they were.
"No brothers at all? I don't know how I would survive with just sisters, I think they would drive me insane!" There was no doubt that the idea shocked and in a way horrified Kweli. Oh what a horrible thought.... the poor girl!

A small laugh, tail twitching lightly in the grass. She had never thought of it that way before, though she wondered if she'd have felt the same were she surrounded by brothers. In that case she could not help but feel sympathy for her two uncles, surrounded by so many sisters themselves. Perhaps being in a litter of triplets was not so bad after all.
"No, no brothers, but I don't mind."
Smiling softly, her gaze returned to the sky, pale eyes tracing the clouded shapes above, ears twitching at the rustle of grass stirred by life beneath the sun. It was indeed a beautiful day, peaceful sky, gentle breeze, warm sun, and a new friend. Surely there were more days like this for her, and perhaps she at last understood all that her father had told her.

"No brothers?" He sounded shocked.
"Sorry, I guess it's not that unusual just I don't know what I would do without my brothers to keep me sane. I guess though as your female maybe sisters keep you sane then?" He was only assuming things he knew nothing about females.
Kweli was naive the poor boy, he was young and naive and he had alot to learn. However there were always things to learn about anything and everything. He just had a lot to learn about females. Maybe he would ask his mother about the gender.

A barely noticeable shrug, tail flicking thoughtfully.
"I suppose our opinions are based on our own experiences."
She smiled softly as she looked to him once more. It was perhaps something her father would have said, wise creature that he was, though he would not have proclaimed himself as such. For her, there was nothing odd about having only sisters, yet if she had had brothers, she would have likely thought differently. She wasn't sure if it would have mattered were she a girl surrounded by brothers or a boy surrounded by sisters, for she had nothing to compare to.
Another glance to the sky, the day was growing late, her parents would be expecting her home soon.

"Wow..." She had surprised him with what came out of her mouth not because he hadn't expected her to say it but more because he hadn't expected to hear something to clever.
"Are you older then you look?" He has a cheeky smile on his face and then laughed a little.
"Sorry just interesting comment. I hadn't thought of it like that. I suppose it's one of those things that is true for all things that we just don't think about it." He was rambling again he was sure of it. He was good at rambling.
He then looked up at the sky just as she had. It was getting late, how had he not noticed that already? Maybe he should head home, but she was intruging. Still it was getting late and he really should get home.

She blinked in confusion, head tilted curiously at his words. Older than she looked? She didn't think so, but she guessed she didn't know, what did he mean? Another lioness might have taken offense at his words, or even found them flattering, but she was perhaps too sheltered, had been shy for too long to think either way.
"I, don't think so."
Oh, so he just meant what she had said? But, that didn't make sense, she didn't get it. Maybe she'd ask her mother about it when she got home, or maybe her father would know.
Smile returning to her maw, the lioness rose to stand on four paws, pale eyes focused on those of her friend.
"It's getting late, I should head for home before my parents send my sister after me, and I don't want them to do that. We can meet and talk more later."
She spoke with a smile, sincerity in her voice, and while she did not wish to cut their conversation short, she certainly did not want Hoshiko storming out to fetch her and drag her back home. It had been a beautiful day, she had enjoyed their conversation, and though the two of them may have been self-conscious in their own way, she hoped that she had found a true friend in Kweli.

Kweli nodded, "Yeah I should get going too." He looked at the sky again and smiled back at his new friend.
"I shall catch you around at some point!!" He smiled and turned to leave. He had to get back and his den was quite a walk from here, that he was sure it was his turn to pick up dinner as it were. Hunting, he loved it but was rubbish at it. Oh well he didn't mind too much. Practice made perfect and all that.
