He smiled his little colt like grin, and nodded. "She'dh ave to be a catch! Look at me!" He giggled, smiling up at her.
He hoped he wasnt bothering her..He really was happy to get to meet her, yet..He didnt want to be rude and bother hernight.
He quickly pushed the rude thought away and smiled again.
Fillies? Why of course he was friends with fillies..He knew quite a few..Including a few colts too..Did that count?
"I know some fillies..My best friend is named Amerlei..Shes got pretty white bird wings and looks like an angel..But I enjoy playing with Seelie too..She has pretty butterfly wings..even though they are malformed and cannot fly..Shes still a pretty filly." he said smiling. Little did he know, that Seelie would end up being his lifemate in the future.

Mittrei smiled at all his responses but the one about the malformed flutter. Malformed? She had never heard of a flutter becoming malformed. She had never heard of such a thing happening and couldn't imagine why it would.. except perhaps for cases of inbreeding... a rather disgusting thought that she was all too happy to push aside.
"I knew you'd have some filly friends," she continued with a teasing glint in her eye. "Now I know you're a little gentleman already, but don't be afraid to disappoint them from time to time."
She gave a small snort of amusement as an image popped into her mind. "Ask your father for ways of letting fillies down gracefully. It will be an excellent bonding exercise, I'm certain." She wished she could be there to see it when it happened. No matter how the topic was handled it had to be entertaining.

Marc nodded.Seelie had been born with wings that could notfly..But they were still beautiful..Her father had been a normal, like himself, and her mother had been a bright purple flutter..
"Let them down?" He smiled andshookhis head.
"Nowwhy would I ever want to let down a filly, Aunt Mittrei?" He asked smiling.
He thought of father and smiled. "I want tob e like father.."

The question, though innocent enough, set Mittrei to laughter. "Why would you want to let them down indeed! In that case, forget what I've said. It never hurts to have too many lady friends, now does it?" She didn't believe that he knew what he was saying... but that just made it all the more amusing.
Or... maybe he did know, she thought with a touch of suspicion. He was a quick one. Maybe he really did mean to toy with the affections of all the fillies he could find.
One look at his sincere expression told her otherwise. Sometimes they really were as cute and innocent as they seemed.
"My brother is a very good soquili to try to imitate." She nodded and her mane bounced with the motion. "He doesn't have an obnoxious streak like your Auntie Mittrei." She tugged on his mane to demonstrate, her good mood keeping her smile firmly in place.
