Chernabog smirked and slipped after her brushing against her enough that she could feel his body weight and heat. She murmured the answer against her ear and stayed quiet enough for her to hunt new prey. "We number seven at current, each with strength and purpose, I do not count on quantity, but quality." He smirked at her as if to imply she was not qualified.
He had left the meat behind on the rock, he hadn't cared for the meat only the female who had been drying it out as a future snack. Now that she moved along so did he, hoping he could convince her to join his royal court.

Fighting the urge and pure reflex to turn and sink her fangs into the warm body brushing against her, Valdis felt her fur bristle. The male thought he was some hot stuff, well then again he was brain dead with thinking of himself as a king.
"Alphas, I've always found to be the worst members, their meat is always so full of dung, it wreaks the moment the nerves shut down." She muttered, knowing good and well that he would hear the words.
His implications of her not being qualified would have made the left side of her jaw curl up in a smirk, but with there really not being a left lip it just hung loose. The male had wanted her to join not but a few moments ago, then again Valdis couldn't hold back a small dark chuckle, males could be just like those stupid fluttering females. Indecisive.
"Well I guess with a pelt like mine, my quality is below any other wolves, I think an omega would be better then," the words were spat out carelessly, as if she hadn't even thought about them before speaking, but that was something that Valdis had felt slip through her maw before.
She stopped and turned her dark bloody face to look at the bone-head, "I guess you should go look for something better then stalk me, since this is the end of you markers." This she stated with a grizzly smile as she stood just past a marked tree, back in no-wolf-land, "There might be someone of better quality, purpose and begging standards that match your creed of being "royal" slaves."

"How do you think you would taste little cannibal?"
He inhaled her bloody scent and grinned, she might have looked like a rotting sack of flesh, but he could tell that she was sharp, a tasty treat. Yet he knew she wouldn't, couldn't be his, this was not a female he could have for his pleasure, at least not THAT kind of pleasure. Still if he could convince her to join his court she would please him greatly, of that he was sure. He could send this vicious female to strike fear into the hearts of those too soft to believe in threats.
"I'm not sure I could find anything or anyone as delightful as you vicious valdis, you may look like your on deaths door but your no omega." He snorted at the thought, he could see her laying in a patch of sun perhaps pretending weakness until some fool came to close to see what lay rotting in the heat...and then...how much more beautiful would she look in the throes of a passionate kill?

Valdis gave a vicious smirk at the question, "I don't know, how did I taste to you Soft-Skull?" Her head tilted, almost like her neck was broken, so she could look at him with the bloody brown eye and her exposed teeth reflect the sunlight over her left shoulder. "After all, did you not have your fangs around my neck/above my shoulders?"
Or at least that was where the resistance felt to have triggered the instinctive thrashing to her. Then again, something, maybe a small voice in the back of her killer mind, said this male wasn't just speaking of blood in taste.
Although the spark in the red glowing eyes told her exactly what she had figured. This male was looking forward to some unseen future, and probably unlogically in his life time, well unlogically to her.
"Ah, flattery, to bad it doesn't work on dead nerves," her voice mocking, but he was partily true if not completely. Never had she been or would she ever be an omega, she'd stop bleeding if that ever happened; For that to happen she would either: A, die/be killed, or B, have a merical healer clog up the bloody wounds. She would die first.
As for the second half of the tomfool's words, she was a unique breed. Made for doing two things, killing and ripping things apart wolves and other creatures. Deer never held her interest, never much of a fight with them.
Shrugging and righting her head back up, neck making an uncommon popping noise, "Besides, from the words you even just spoke, as delightful as I may be, it sounded like you have all the quality needed for your small gathering.." She was sick of calling this black male Bone-head and Soft-skull or anything else that meant the generic definition.
"What is it that you are called? Royal a**? Since you think you're a king and all." The question was rare to pass through her maw, but at least her ending comments sounded just like her. Bitter and disrespectful. Sheesh, where was this "King's" guards? Every King, or supposively 'noble', had a set.

Chernabog laughed and licked his lips "Like a tender morsel, but one that might give my stomach troubles if I ate too much." He smirked at her "Did it feel good for you too?"
He moved slowly beside her still walking with a casual stride his smirk still in place beneath the row of sharp metal fangs. He liked her spirit and zest well enough, but she was certainly a lone through and through. Still having her in the pack, even simply to scout for them would be an asset.
"They call me The King of The Reign of Terror, and those who are within my Court are titled as befits them. Despite all the quality I have I feel you would still be useful." He grinned "Your talent is quite something, a stealth assassin who can devour her evidence." He chuckled.
"Consider joining Vicious Valdis, it certainly couldn't hurt you after all, I don't think anything could quite hurt you." Inside or Out

The pupil in her right eye rolled, "Didn't feel a thing, maybe you're not such a hot shot as you thought," the smirk appeared slightly on the right side of her maw.
The blue eye looked around pupil-less, this day was coming to a close and her nose would be the main source of her night life, but in all honesty she prefered it. Nose over eyes, everything was edible or what her nose caught traces of was.
"Titles is that all you like to hide behind?" She paused and eyed the mask, obviously not, but she continued on in a snappy tone, "If I give someone my name and allow them to live, I atleast like knowing their birth name as well." However, Valdis wasn't sure she was at birth named Valdis, some two-legger had screamed that name and pointed at her. Before killing him, he seemed to worship her, to bad about his death, but then again his life was meaningless.
Valdis titled her head at the male. For one not finding her good enough for his 'court' he seemed hell bent in making her one of it.
"You won't leave me alone if I even say no would you." Not a question, she was certain the answer was yes. Although he was right, there hasn't been a single creature in the whole of Telk that had caused her to yelp, or atleast to memory.
"I'll be apart of your 'court' as long as those that think teaching me a lesson in manners of 'abusing' their titles, is fair game to be my prey. I've never bowed to a wolf, and I have no intentions to do so in the future." Her condition was stated, leave it or take it, she thought, as long as I can get some peace in not having you all bug me at all hours of the night.

Chernabog chuckled at the female, he liked her spirit, and one who ate the flesh of wolves might be of use in any war. He had no doubt that in time he may be able to send her out as a lady of the court to collect tribute or punish those who refused.
"Of course, each earns their place there will be no abuse of titles within our pack, we will watch one another and that will keep us stronger as a whole." He smirked.
How very pleased he was that she had agreed to join them, quite the little spitfire he had no doubt her sharp tongue would keep things amusing in the pack. He didn't even mind her mild insults, Chernabog was not vain, spoiled, or overly proud. He did not use title of king as a flaunt he simply had pride in the band of wolves that had agreed to work as one. It was quite a task he felt to ensure they didn't all kill each other.
"Enjoy the land then Valdis, and of course your welcome to the den, but I have a feeling one as solitary as you would prefer to find their own nook." He chuckled, he didn't think she would appreciate all the company of the court. He did though, it had been too long since he had been surrounded by his own kind. Too many weak mongrels he had to kill, and too many two leggers gazing at him in fear and awe. He had grown tired of it, now he wanted his own pack to give him respect without fear, and the rest of the four legged of Telk to fear him respect or not.

Rolling the blue and red, only pupiled, eye at his chuckle Valdis looked at the metal inlaid skull-head, "Abuse as in not giving them the title, Lord, Lady, King, or God," the names she stated was in a manner of a disconcerned sigh, "when or if I have to speak with them."
She curled her lip up at the thought of being that close to wolves that weren't to be eaten, "I'll be fine on my own." The wolfess stated and moved to head back towards her drying out fox meat, back into the territory.

"I'm sure you will be." He grinned and turned to walk back towards the center of the territory, he would leave Valdis be for now. Eventually he wanted her to toughen up the packs youth.
Chernabog turned once to watch her head to the soon to be fox jerky and grinned to himself.
