ONe of my favorite songs is Sympothy for the Devil

I didn't realize I had heard that song until last night,and it's actually terrible in my opinion.I prefer (I Can't Get No)Satisfaction.

That's a pretty cool song. (Sympathy For the Devil) The lack of rhythm guitar on an otherwise great song annoys the living ******** out of me, though.

The bongos are pretty stupid,too.

Nah, they fit well and contribute to the vibe the song is supposed to have.

Albeit, I'm an ABB fan so I'm biased when it comes to bongos.

I was listening to Steel Wheels the other day,and I reccomend it.

It's got a good variety of songs, and it's an underrated album IMO.

I've got Steel Wheels.. Only listened to it once, back when I was only a minor Stones fan. Actually, a minor classic rock fan in general. I better give it another listen.

Lyrics alone don't make a great song, keep that in mind. xp Plus, while we like to debate over them, we all have our different opinions.

I myself also like "Sympathy for the Devil".. And I agree with HS in saying that the bongos fit the song quite well.

I also enjoy the classic "Paint It Black", "Satisfaction", "It's Only Rock and Roll", and the like.

I've heard from multiple sources that Rock and Roll Circus is one of the greatest concert DVDs of all time. Discuss. xp

I haven't seen it yet, however, I've heard that it's pretty good, and I mean to get it at some point. I wasn't all THAT interested in getting it, but I heard that Tony Iommi was still with Jehthro Tull at the time that DVD was recorded...this got me interested.

....Yes, it's always interesting to see albums he's guested on/solo work/bands he's been in, etc.

Hm,I have the DVD,and Iommi isn't with Jethro Tull in it.

But it's a great DVD overall.

Watching the Stones perform live is even more incredible. They were the main band performing at a benefit called "Sars-Stock" In toronto ontario canada, though I must admit AC/DC stole the show, The Stones still know how to put on a stellar concert!!
