Nibal took his sheet and quickly read through it, grinning at a couple of things listed on it. He already knew two of the things he was going to pick, right off. They were things he'd learned in his skills classes and had enjoyed greatly. For the other thing, though, the boy read over the list again. He didn't want to hurt anyone with his toxins... and he wasn't sure how being a poor swimmer would factor into this class...
Putting the decision to the side for the moment, the boy leaned over to glance at Ter's sheet. "What's yours say?" Meanwhile, Kal poked her head up to look at what was on Nibal's sheet. All she saw was a bunch of scribbles. Darn that human language...

Ter looked over the paper that he had been handed, finding only one thing on it that he decided he was going to be careful about. Susceptible to cold, huh? He supposed that it was a good thing that his brother didn't seem to know that or be the sort to attack a weakness like that. After all Ligeia had all that icy magic.
He glanced over at Nibal then gave a fanged smirk as he held the paper for him to see, making sure to cover the word 'headed' with his fingers, "It says I'm hot." He told his friend then couldn't help but give a little chuckle.

Valens looked down at his paper, finding himself pausing at the 'Docile' and found himself trying to remember what that one meant when he saw what was right after it and couldn't help but flush. After all pausing to try to recall what docile meant proved the 'Slow Thinking' thing right didn't it? He went back to the first four finding that they sounded nicer to him.
Endurance he could see, powerful he knew he was that and he knew he could be speedy, grace though... did he have any grace? He turned his ears forward as he tried to think on that. One would think that grace would mean that he wouldn't fall out of as many trees as he fell out of. Then again it was hard climbing with hooves.
He lifted turned his eyes from the paper to the others, curious as what their sheets might say.

"I'm intimidating?" Was Cleos first reaction to that. She sounded geniunely puzzled at that one, little eyebrows furrowed up. She knew the whole thing with being fragile and quick, with little claws and able to fly but - intimidating?
The goldcrest looked up from the paper, her face squished into one of confusion. Cleo couldn't look ugly if she tried; this expression only made her look like a lost puppy. Bird? Whichever. Her eyes went straight to Tyvvie and, if her sister was looking at her, caught her eyes.
"How am I intimidating, Tyvvie?"
Lian was trying not to smack his cousin across the back of the head. She was... She was clueless. Scary at times (downright intimidating, stupid Cleo) but clueless. He originally figured it was an act but she was too in place for it to be an act.
"Whooo. I can be an acrobat!" The panda crowed, one hand rising into the air. "Can I have the frog and the cocky snake on my team? That would be awesome."
He pointed to Ter and Nibal in turn as he said that, lips pulled into a wide, wide grin. Xiao rolled her eyes quietly at her boys enthusiasm and shifted to nose at Shilling. Time to leave your girl be, Shilling. She has to do this alone.
Shilling whined, squirmed against Cleo before listening to Xiao. He broke away, padding a few feet back, squirmed pathetically. His next words were aimed at Auzcar, anyway. Yoursnakebetternothurt mycleoagain.

Tyven's mouth went dry and she just blinked at Cleo wordlessly, taken aback by the sudden use of a nickname, and also by the question. Cleo was extremely intimidating. Before she was forced to answer, Turner spoke up.
Turner had different teams in mind, but hearing Lian's question, she reconsidered. Both Terpsichore and Tyven were extremely aggressive, although the female snake was far more trained. Lian and Nibal were both flexible and fast, they'd make a fairly decent team. Valen's inexperience would be balanced by Tyven's skill and Cleo's tenacity. That would work.
Nodding, the blue-eyed young woman grinned. "Yes, that sounds like a great idea, kid. Nibal, Lian, and Terpsichore versus Valens, Cleo, and Tyven." Glancing sideways to her teaching assistant, she gestured.
"Tyven will be available during her regular gym time to assist any of you with the techniques on here, when we're not in class. In approximately one month, you will come for your exam, that is, the battle. It will take place in my terrain room. This should give you time to know your abilities fairly well, and also to bond with your teammates. If you don't have anymore questions, we can end today's class."
Big, huge grin.
[ICly, they will be attending class twice a week, with the option to train outside of class with Tyven. This also presents the opportunity for outside of class RP with teammates, and even 'enemies'. People that do those RPs and link them for me will receive extra points in the battle.
OOCly, I will be starting another class next week for all of you, that will be the Final.]
