The idea's pretty lame, but I don't like the idea of Star Wars fading away, and I applaud Mr. Lucas for his getting his hands on another pretty penny.
I'm totally taking my neighbor's kid to the theatrical debut of the first episode.

I thought there was already an animated series of the clone wars that
came out a couple of years ago? Did they make another one?

I don't know if a live action TV show would work out so great. If they did it right, rock on, I would definately watch it.

jasonfehr I thought there was already an animated series of the clone wars that came out a couple of years ago? Did they make another one? They are making a cgi 100 episode wich takes place after the new clone wars movie.

I would love to see this live TV show come into play. It would be nice if they could use a storie line from one of the book series. I am afraid how ever that they will try to put to much personal drama and love affairs in it as they have done before. I hope that they pick a good cast that can really act and not one's who depend on special effects to get them by. The new cartoon is really cute but not really set for us older people, of course remember that the youngling's need to be introduced to the force also. Their was a cute cartoon out before DROIDS.

GAHHH!! 400 episodes would be WAAAAAAAY too much. They would need to make the entire thing in a period of about twenty years, or much more. Friends had a total of 238 episodes in ten years...why would Lucasfilm want to make 400??? That's insane @_@
Otherwise if they went for a minimal 100 that would be fine. It wouldn't get boring so fast, either.

well, its june 2010, and there's not even a whisper of the show, just the cgi clone wars series. I've never even heard of it until now. Personally, I think it might work, but not for 400 episodes. CSI just had their 100th episode during this season, and they've been running for years. Lucas and McCallum probably think it will turn out like star trek or something.

I would love a Clone Commandos Live Action TV show. Just keep the main Characters out of it. I thought the first cartoons did a great job. It tied the second and third episodes together nicely. Pardon my French but Where the hell did this Asoka girl come from. She doesn't bring anything to the table except for another annoying character that doesn't make sense with the rest of the series. I think she should be fired on the spot. She's being paid WAY too much for a job that she isn't doing right. Why does Anakin get a padawan. Why does she call him "master?" He's still a knight in Episode 3. In fact he never becomes a master at all. It's pointless and it defies the Jedi code. Both her and Anakin's crappy voice actor should be slapped as well as the guy who writes the script. Obviously these aren't Lucas' lines. They're WAY too cheesy.
