"Mm? That's good." She turned her head sideways to glance at the wildtype and the corners of her beak seemed to turn upwards in a sheepish grin. "Thanks for coming... Y'know..."
As if to answer the call of Jester's rumbling stomach, Auze poked his little head through the entrance and held a large berry in his maw. He scrambled past the two sentinels and dropped it into a pile in the back of the hovel, one in which he and Tikki had been making throughout the course of the day. "Food. Food for sentials."

Nodding slightly to Twilla, "Your most welcome." Jester would have said much more, about how worried he was, and how glad he was that she was alright. But his stomach, upon smelling the berry going past him via Auze, rebelled with a great grumble.
"Auze you are a mind reader, or stomach reader as it were. Thank you kindly." Jester looked to the pile of berries, then to Twilla. "You choose first."

"Mmmm, looks good." Twilla chuckled as she moved closer to the pile and selected one of the larger berries. Her own stomach rumbled and she was silently thankful that the pair had gone to work while she and Jester slept.
Tikki darted through the entrance carrying another plump berry and scittered past them to deposit it. "Food, food!" She chimed cheerfully, although she took pains to go around Twilla, instead of between her and Jester.

Lifting the plump berry the skurri set down with his will, holding it aloft a moment. "Ah yes," Jester said in an audible whisper, so as not to frighten the companion. "We haven't been properly introduced. I'm called Jester." Bowing slightly, then bringing the berry close to his beak, he snapped it up. "Delicious!"
His stomach rumbled its appreciation, as he swallowed the fruit.

She shrank back and huddled close to Twilla's side. Skurri were famous for their delicious meat and she was cautious because of this. Companions were snapped up now and again, and Skurri were a delicacy.
"Tikki... Tikki. My name Tikki." She replied after a small nudge from her master.
"Yep! This little one is Tikki. Isn't she helpful?"
"Phhyeah. Not as much as I, though!" Auze protested, although playfully. He and Tikki were already quite close.

Jester chuckled at Auze's remark, apparently the two were very close, already arguing like siblings. Turning back to the new companion, "Tikki, very pleased to meet you. I won't hurt you, so you needn't hide." Then noticing the skurri had a dye job to match her master, "You are lovely, did Twilla dye you to match! How wonderful!"
Jester was trying his best to flatter the companion into trusting that he wasn't going to eat her.

His flattering seemed to work as the dark furred skurri crept further out from behind Twilla.
"Yah, yah. Twil' dyed, too, like Twil' n' Au." She informed meekly as she swiped another berry from the pile to nibble on.
Twilla was busy downing another berry and nodded with aproval.

Eyes smiling at the skurri, Jester ate his fill of the delicious berries. Very thankful for the small companions efforts.
"Thank you both very much, it was delicious." Then turning to Twilla, "Would you like some help cleaning up outside?" Jester inquired softly, having noticed the tree's state of disrepair.

"I'd most greatly appreciate it." Twilla replied as she finished her share and left the rest to her pair of blue marked companions.
"To be honest, I looked it over when I flew in, but I'd rather not think about how it looks. Could be worse... Once we finish here I could help tidy up about your tree, too." She ran her beak self conciously through her chest feathers.

Jester puffed up slightly, "That would be wonderful." Truth be told he didn't even know if his tree still stood.
Shaking his tail, "Alright, lets get to it." Jester stated very determined, hopping out of the hovel's entrance and out a few branches to get a better look at Twilla's tree.
Turning his head sideways, for no apparent reason but to feign concentrating and possibly amuse Twilla. "It's not to bad, just some wayward branches." He came to the conclusion after a moment.

Her eartufts lifted as she watched Jester move from the hovel entrance and out on the limb. "Ah? That's a relief!" She sighed greatfully and moved out on the limb after him. "Good ol' tree faired pretty well..."
Her icy eyes darted around her tree. Only one major limb seemed to have fallen, and even it did not seem to cause much structural damage, as it did not snap at the base.
"Well, I guess we ought t' have at it." She began to pick up stray branches that were nettled in her own branches and drop them to the forest floor.

Jester moved slightly higher into the willow's branches, and moving the smaller bramble away with his will. "Look out below!" He called out in mock warning, knowing it was far from hitting anyone, as he watched it fall to the floor far below.
Moving slowly down the tree removing the fallen branches tangled in the tree as he went. He started to sing, softly at first, but as he worked it got louder.
"Heave ho! Heave ho! Look out below! Keep an eye out as we throw, countless branches down..-WOAH!"
Jester leaped to another branch as the one he had perched on decided to give way. He couldn't help but laugh at himself.

Twilla chuckled at the bard's antics as she cleared away a few more broken branches. "Careful, silly!" She called out to him as he landed on a second perch. While she and Jester were having great fun cleaning, she hoped that Nica was doing alright now that she was back with her minder and that loud noise in the center of deep woods bothered her.

After the tedious cleaning had been finished, Jester bobbed back down to the hovel entrance. "There, did we get it all?" He sounded a bit winded as he glanced around and up into the branches of the willow.
"And where did the two little ones go?" Jester questioned peering into the hovel.

"I think so..." Twilla replied after knocking a final branch loose with her Will. It had taken a good while, but looked much more spruced up and the shadow gatherer was satisfied. "Should still be in there... Didn't see them leave..."
She nudged past Jester to peer inside the hovel, but saw neither Auze or Tikki.
