 The master of stealth, the branch stalked, tracking after the lioness, pausing to float innocently each time she looked back, doing his best to appear non-suspicious. If he could be heard beneath the water, his laughter surely would have given him away, lost in the childish game.
Closer her sneaked, biding his time, daring only to peek above the surface when he was certain she was not watching, each stolen breath a moment from being discovered. Closer, closer, he was almost there, outstretched paw mere inches from his companion's tail, it was so close...
"AH-HAH!"
The 'attack' came in an instant, paw giving her tail a brief tug as if a large fish had been tempted by the flicking tuft only to quickly find it was not the snack it thought it was. Following immediately, the god had sprung from the water, breaking through the surface with another great splash, the air suddenly littered with sparkling drops, waves rippling through the lake to lap at the shore.

"Aah! " She leaped into the air, flailing her paws in his direction, which lad to a rather awkward fall back into the water. Oooh, sneaky sneaky! She tried to block most of the splashing with her front paws, before using her hind ones to propel her forward, stretching out her paws so they'd splash out at the god.
"I knew that branch looked funny! " she stuck her tongue out, letting herself float for a bit before rearing up on her hind paws and batting at him. "Sneaky! Very, very sneaky! "

Laughter erupted from his jaws, rolling across the rippling waves, bright as the sun breaking through the clouds. His head turned, ducking against the watery barrage, a paw raised in defense of her retaliation, the other splashing at her in turn. Oh what a furious 'battle' it had become, not that either of them could have possibly gotten any wetter, but it didn't seem to stop them from trying.
Panting took over laughter, though the smile never faded, the god at last stood to his paws, head and back emerging from the water, ripples fleeing from his form as he tried to catch his breath. The branch had served its purpose, returned to the water with a flick of his head, wood clattering against antler as it returned to its home in the cycle of nature.
"Never trust the branches, they can be very clever."
He was teasing of course, though they had held life as any creature, branches did not move on their own, unless being used by a god sneaking up on his friend.

Like Cor, Kimaji was soon laughing her heart out, and if it weren't for the fact that they wer ein water, she'd probably be rolling on the floor right now. She'd have to settle to flopping slightly to the side, keeping a paw firm against the ground to support her above water.. "They are sneaky. When you least expect it they grow gods that fling water at you! " She grinned, before standing up.
"I won, by the way. " She was teasing, though a tleast in this war she'd done better off than in the snowball one! Water was muh easier to lfing at people than snow, definitely.
"I think we should go back to shore now. " She was a little dired after the epic battle of doom.

A faint chuckle, paw raised to bat one last time, a teasing splash of water tossed at the lioness, though it was doubtful it had much affect, it wasn't meant to.
"Oh really, I've heard that one before."
Not that it mattered who won or lost, not that there was even a winner or a score to be kept. The game had simply been played for fun, a time of simple enjoyment to be shared between friends, their teasing merely a continuation of that game.
Laughter fading, though the joy had not, Corellon trod to the shore with his friend, having grown somewhat tired himself. Water streamed from his form as he rose from the water, flowing through his hide in small rivers, dripping to the earth beneath his paws as he stepped on dry ground. Once there he shook from head to tail, flinging the water from his hide, once again filling the air with crystal drops, falling to water the plants along the bank, wings spreading to allow water to flow from damp feathers.
"Perhaps we should return to the cave for a short rest."
A soft smile as he turned to face Kimaji, standing back to avoid whatever water she may have flung in his direction. A rest seemed a good idea after such an exhilarating game, a chance to recharge and fur and feathers to dry, to enjoy the peace of the land around them before returning to the sky and the journey once more.
