History: Imaran's an interesting addition to the apartments, as his personality is one that the other Anthros...haven't quite encountered yet. Seemingly impervious to the world, the rat holds his own in any conversation, although...he doesn't engage in those very often. He's not a recluse, like Javert or Yukio, but neither is he particularly outgoing. Softspoken with a will of steel, Imaran's been training in various different types of martial arts since he was a young boy. A good word to describe him is 'Zen'.
As a note, he seems to identify with an vaguely Indochinese identity - his name means 'strength' in Hindi, and the way he dresses originates from somewhere around that area, although he has lived on Gaia all his life.

History: Oh dear lord. o_o He's cheerful. I mean, not even...slightly-scary cheerful, like Chiron's apt to be. No, 'Vanthe is genuinely happy to be alive. And why not?! The sun is shining, the birds are out...there's really nothing to be depressed about! A very laid back, easy-going type boy, Evanthe really does like people. Nature's fun too! Nothing better than going on a picnic with some friends, getting all the food together, laughing and having a good time...mmm. ^^ It sounds fun, doesn't it?
And he's not a laze-about either. He's got a nice active job as a delivery boy, for which he...rides a bike. sweatdrop He likes the activity of it, instead of riding around in a car all day. Pssh.

History: Torricelli comes from the forests. He's had limited human interaction, or rather, limited interaction outside of his secluded social group in the wild. However, at around the age of 14, a group of scientists came across their civilization. He's learned...minimal English from them, but for the most part, he's unable to communicate outside of sounds and gestures.
At the moment, he's living in (and around) a hut about a mile or so away from Kami's house, visited fairly often by his "kidnapper" Code, a vampiric shark anthro who offered him the freedom and nature that he loves.
Likes: Nature, freedom, trees, being self-sufficient, Code

History: Alain's an interesting young man. He's been poor most of his life, which probably prompts his neverending need to look and feel rich. Given that, it's really not that much a suprise that he's fallen on...not quite legal means of procuring his money. Though he does prefer piracy to anything else, he's not below lightening a few purses if he can. If at all possible, he prefers to leave all that to Anatole, fancying himself more the brains of the operation. That's not to say that he's not smart, he just sometimes has slight...delusions of grandeur.
The fox is a bit stuck up at times - especially for someone of his station - but if you catch his attention and don't manage to rub him the wrong way, he can be fairly pleasent.
Likes: Money, rich clothes, being wellfed, shiny things, having pretentions to nobility
Dislikes: people asking what happened to his eye, being called 'mangy' or 'dirty', when Anatole is particularly drunk and/or rowdy, not having the means to support himself

History: Tobias is actually fairly average. I mean, he's intellegent enough, attractive enough, rich enough. But nothing spectacular. A nice guy if he wants to be, but he can also be a spectacular a*****e. He was raised in relative wealth, went to college, got a paying job, all that.
Of course, the most important part of his history has nothing to do with himself, but with a certain little kitten also staying at the Apartments. Soyeah. When Ari first came out to his parents, he was 16. His mother persuaded his father through lots of pleading not to throw the boy out on his a** until he was at least 18. That night, depressed and scared, Ari wandered away from home and ended up sitting across the street from a bar - a bar owned by one of Tobias' good friends. The older man narrowly saved Ari from killing himself, though shortly before he had made a bet with his friends that he couldn't sleep with the younger boy and still be able to dump him. They accused him of going soft.
He was in fact able to do just that - breaking Ari's fragile heart in the process - but it was terribly hard for him and he's still very much hung up on the boy. He managed to convince Ari to come back to him for a while, but ended up cheating on him. Now he seeks to get his boyfriend back, because deep down he really doesn't want Ari to be anyone else's.
Likes: drinking, making friends, having sex, being devious, Ari, figuring out how to mess with Ari's life
Dislikes: ...Anyone in his way of his goal to make Ari his again, getting beaten up by whoever is protecting Ari at any certain time (it's become quite a tradition XD)

History: Not much is really known about Lord Culter Beckett, except that he was, until shortly, and an agent of the East India Trading Company, a vast and powerful shipping monopoly almost as powerful as the British Empire itself.
Though he is a Lord now - or rather, was until his arrival on Gaia, where a British title means nothing at all, except in his own mind - it's not clear as to whether or not he was born into nobility, or whether he earned or bribed his way into it. Though...that demand for opulence - not over the top, mind, but...there... - ...It must signify something. His desire for control...
Ambitious to the last, the Lord desired the heart of Davy Jones, which would allow the East India Trading company to control the sea itself. Arresting one Will Turner and one Elizabeth Swann, he sent the former to barter for Jack Sparrow's compass, intending to use it to locate the chest which contained the heart.
Things didn't go quite according to plan, but all was right in the end - he got the heart from one (former) Commadore Norrington, now Admiral Norrington.
Fat lot of good the entire endevour was, given that he now finds himself in Gaia, and finding that the times have changed...so completely.
Never fear. Cutler Beckett always lands on his feet.
Likes: power, control over whatever situation he finds himself in, elegance, fine things (wine, furniture, clothing...anything), music - he happens to play the piano and the violin suprisingly well, horses, tea, interesting company, high society (so much intriuge and betrayal X3)
Dislikes: JACK >>, not being in control of any situation that he finds himself in (to the point of viciousness if said lack of control extends too long, or whatever it takes to reassert his mastery), pirates in general, not being taken seriously because of his stature, his height ><
