Well then, that all seemed to be settled up nice and clean, didn't it? Iennta grinned to herself and roused her feathers, dipping her head to Periodot in a mute expression of thanks. A quick preen to put her feathers in order, and Iennta was all nice and set to go. "Thank you very kindly for that," she said pleasantly, "and it is a pleasure doing business with a Sentinel who knows how society should be put together." She gave a slightly mysterious smile, and then bobbed her head again.
Periodot was probably one of her favourite Sentinels, with her clean manners and her specific worldview. And now with her offer, she could do nearly no wrong in Iennta's eyes. It made Iennta all the more eager to find her a fine lad, so that the pair of them could bring up fluffs and fledglings who understood how to do things properly.
Giving a short, sharp call for her parus, Iennta inclined her head once again, undid the toggle on her pouch, and extracted a small stone with a hole in the center, through which was threaded a strip of rawhide. "For good luck an' thanks," she said with a smile, offering it to Periodot, "and now I think I have to take my leave. Regrettably." She laughed a bit, and then shuffled toward the entrance of the hollow, where Chitter and Chatter were both perched, squabbling. "Again, many thanks to you. You're a fine Sentinel, Periodot."
Winking, she gave the Ghost a wide grin and took her leave.
