Obatala Healing Spell
Invoke Obtala to remedy any over-heated situation or condition, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Obtala's days are Sundays or Thursdays. He is traditionally offered white things: milk, coconut, rice, "Cascarilla Powder" ((see below)), white shea and cocoa butter, and white candles.
Every person involved with this spell is assigned an egg, whether that person is ill or is serving in the capacity of healer. Maintain this spell as a vigil until healing occurs. When and if the eggs start to smell, dispose of them outside the home and replace.
1) Write the appropriate name on each egg, so that they may be distinquished from one another.
2)Fill a clear, sparkling clean, crystal owl with spring water.
3) Dissolve a square of white camphor in the water.
4) Place the eggs within the bowl.
5) Change the water morning and evening, adding additional camphor.
6) Burn two white cross candles or plain white candles on either side of the egg-filled bowl. Enhance with dressing oils as you deem appropriate.
7) Accompany the spell with prayers and petitions as desired.

Cascarilla Powder
This is powdered eggshell: the only ingredient is eggshell.
White Cascarilla Powder
1)Clean the eggshells and let them dry out.
2)Crumble the pieces and place them in a morta and pestle.
3)Grind these into a fine powder
Brown Cascarilla Powder
1)Clean the eggshels.
2)Break up the shells o that the pieces lie flat.
3)Toast these pieces in a low, slow oven until the shells brown.
4)Grind these to a fine powder.

Astrological Healing Waters
Each part of the body is under the dominion of astrological signs, from the head (Aries) to the feet (pisces). The sign influences that part of that anatomy. In days long gone by, medical physicians were expected to have strong working knowledge of astrology.

Barrida
The Barrida is a method of spiritual, magical cleansing, indigenous to Mexico, that may be used to heal and "sweep away" illnesses caused by enchantment.
1) Construct a small broom from branches (a besom). The exact botanical is chosen based upon availability and the nature of the healing; however, for illness caused by bewitchment rosemary is most common. Small pepper tree branches and red geraniums amy be tied up together with the rosemary to form a broom.
2) Someone must cleanse (sweep) the patient; once upon a time (and still, in some places this was a shamanic rite. The cleansing is accompanied by prayer, petition, incantation, and spiritual negotiation.
3) When the sweeping is complete, the broom must be taken apart and destroyed.

Bloody Stick Transference Spell
~WARNING~ Not for weak constitutions or the weak of heart, just a warning this is for slightly more advanced, just for the meere fact that it does use real blood. I do not normally recomend this. So there for this is recommended for advanced healers only.
According to magical theory, illness may be removed via methods of transference. The following ritual must be accomplished in complete and total silence.
1) Position yourself by a stream so that the water runs away from you.
2) Take a hazel or elder stick.
3) Carve your name into it.
4) Make three small slices into the stick.
5) Fill these slices with your blood (either menstrual blood or a few drops obtrained by pricking your finger)
6) Throw the stick over your left shoulder or between your legs into water that must be flowing away from you, ideally rapidly.
7) Walk away without looking back.

Healing Doll Spell
Illness may be transferred by using dolls and figurines. This ancient Assyrian formula, intended to restore good health to someone who is ailing, requires the creation of a clay or wax figurine. It should look anonymous and not resemble either the person suffering from the ailment or anyone else.
1) Someone other than the ailing person is appointed to communicate with the Disease Spirit. The goal is to entice the illness to leave the human and enter the doll instead. Consider how this is to be accomplished before beginning the spell.

2) Personalize the doll as needed.
3) When you''re ready, destroy it by either tossing it onto a fire or tossing it into running water, flowing away from you. The illness is expected to depart also. The demon feels uncomfortable and unwelcome and so goes elsewhere.

Kyoto Powder Spell
Sprinkle "Kyoto Powder" (see below) on the patient, or on the sheets, or in a circle around the patient's bed.
Kyoto Powder
Grind and powder clove buds, orrisroot, lavender blossoms, and dried vanilla beans. Blend with arrowroot powder and sprinkle as needed.

Magic Wood Healing Spell
Although any wood, like any herb, contais some sort of power, certain woods are perceived as more magically charged than others, for instance oak, thorn, or rowan.
1) Create a fire with magically powerful wood.
2) Concentrate on your desired goals while gazing into the fire.
3) When the fire has almost died out and the wood has been reduced to charred fragments, pick one piece up using metal tongs.
4) Drop the wood into an awaiting pot of cold water; simultaneously envision the illness breaking up, dispersing, and disappearing.
5) Repeat for seven consecutive nights.

Oak Healing Spell
Oak is traditionally amongst the most powerfully magical of trees. Build a fire from oak wood on the hearth or within fireplae or cauldron. Toss Rowan and/or stinging nettles into the fire to heal and eliminate illness within the home.
