"I can understand the whole all that matters is me, sort of thing." he then said, while remaining highly amused. "But what will you do when you have family to look after, be it by choice or by family appearing unexpectedly? Will you still think that all that matters is yourself?" Ariston wasn't trying to put him on the spot, and he was only asking the questions in a conversational method. His voice was very calm and comfortable, and he was interested in seeing how broadly the stallion thought about life. "Yourself is indeed important, but when you create new life that IS yourself, then you start seeing yourself as even MORE valuable. And those kiddos of yours are definitely something to be proud of. Just make sure your mate isn't ugly. Or at least know that you will make the kids unugly at least." He let out a laugh, since well, it was damn true!

"Oh, please, of course I will make sure my mate is gorgeous. Like any ugly mare deserves a piece of my fine beautiful body?" he teased. He was kind of serious though. He hardly liked talking to ugly mares, he was afraid their ugliness will wear off on him. "I'd love to spread the love, if you know what I mean, to all the mares. But I must admit, it would get exhausting. So, I only choose the finest." He thought about what Ariston had said about raising a child, but he still wasn't sure if he was cut out for parenthood. Perhaps one day. As he said earlier, he may already be a father. Rock Candy never keeps in touch with the mares he has been with.

"Eh, exhausting is easy to fix with good rest and lots of self reflection. The real exhausting part is the raising of the offspring, but at least it has its fun times." With a shrug, the stallion then leaned on his back leg for a moment, since he was preoccupied with a quick leg-stretch. "You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders, and that is always refreshing to see. And, if you stay away from the ugly mares, that makes you even smarter as well." Ugly mares.. Ariston hadn't seen one in ages! Probably because his eyes literally ignored their presence.. "I've learned quite a bit about you today.. and I'm surprised that you answered all of my questions, and so peacefully. I'm always relieved when I meet someone else who sees eye to eye from how I see, since many are too idiotic to consider their true worths. And, because most don't have real worth at all." Ariston was always amazed by the amount of Soquili who could care less about their importance and talents in the world. "But, I'm afraid you've answered most of my get-to-know questions from me.. do you have anything you wanted to ask me perse?"

Ask Ariston a question? About...him? Rock Candy never really thought to ask questions about someone else before. He only really prefers to talk about himself! He supposed he would have to say something though! "Do you like...apples?" he asked, spitting out the first question he could think of. What a shitty question. No good. Oh! A question! "I mean stallions. We've stated that the beauty of a mare is important to us, but how about the beauty of a stallion? Do you find any enjoyment in that?" Perhaps that was too personal of a question. But it wasn't Rock Candy being interrogated, why should he care so much?

The stallion's first words made Ariston laugh yet again since they were so random, but he quickly shut up at the OTHER question. "Stallions? Uh.. I actually hate most stallions, since most are filthy and ugly, and have no idea how to treat a lady. There are two stallions that I consider my comrades, but that's about it." he then paused, and kept a brow raised at the other male. "If you are implying that you are in to me or something, I am sorry I can't give back the same feelings. You'll have to try that enjoyment with someone else." Ariston knew he was damn good, but good enough to attract a ego-filled stallion? Double damn.

"Huh, wha--no!" he said with a laugh. "I find you very beautiful, yes. I have found several stallions to be very beautiful, I admire their beauty. But not in the same way I admire a mare's. And not nearly to the same level which I admire my own beauty, nothing can compare to that. I was simply asking...have you ever found another stallion to be beautiful? Even in a non-sexual way?" Rock Candy certainly has found stallions he thought were beautiful, but none that he ever had a sexual relationship with, he has always reserved that for mares.

Ariston was a bit perplexed by the other stallion's question, and he wondered why he had even asked for a question in the first place! Maybe it was a bad idea.. "Hm. No, actually." he then admitted, while blinking slightly. "That's fine for you to do and stuff, but I guess I don't like a stallions at all for anything. I walk by them as if they aren't there, but I don't mind chatting with them if the moment comes up." He seriously never noticed them, but ah well, that was his own hilariousness to deal with. "But hey, do as you wish! There is never anything wrong with admiring beauty, my eyes have their own way of doing things I guess."

"Oh, okay," he said. And now it was awkward. Rock Candy rarely experiences many awkward silences like this, usually only when a mare looks at him speechless in shock of his beauty. Now Rock Candy was in a similar situation. He had nothing to say. Looking down at his hooves, he kicked around some dirt a little.

Ariston wasn't a fan of silence, and it was more surprising that the stallion from before had quieted himself so much! "Its not good to see another soldier so quiet! It may be that two very strong personalities equal each other out." with a light shrug, Ariston only shook his head before continuing on. "Well oh well. I still enjoyed your company. And if there is not much else to say, I suppose I should let you go on your way, right?"
