chocfudge, You're going good, but some typos. :XP
It should be "norsk", "tysk" and "svensk", which means "Norwegian", "German" and "Swedish." Also, it should be "Jeg liker deg". It's the same as "I like you."

Proudly_Jewish, If you were to add all the norwegian speakers throughout the world, to a number, you'd have about 5 million persons, or more.

I just knew how to pronounce these words, not how to write... Well, it was fun greeting my Norwegian friends with 'Hallaballa Norsk!' lol

A friend from denmark told me that norway , denmark and sweden have got (more or less) the same type of language. Is that right? Cause some letters and words are the same like the danish words/letter whee

well...that can be true....but it is said that norwegian understand swedish and sweden understand danish and the danish under stand norwegian...

the words in danish is hard to understand if u don't have any close friends that are from denmark og relatives....they talk like they got a cold or something.... so for me...it's not easy to understand them! xp

I agree. To me Danish is very hard to understand, 'cous of the troathy sound their accsent has. But in letters and grammar (possibly?) it's more like Norwegian.
In swedish on the other hand it's easy for me to understand when they speak, but the letters and in writings it's worse. Though some of it may because Norway and Sweden is closer and we've got some swedish channels on our tv. ^-^

Swedish: Kan du bra min vska t mig?
Danish: Kan du bare min taske for meg?

I think that colud do it. o.o I dunno if the Danish phrase is correctly spelled, but at least it gives you an idea of how the people write. :3

I must say I'm better at the speaking part when it comes to Danish. But I'm not fluent, I have to practise. >.<

the danish should actually go: kan du bære min taske for mig?
but you were close blaugh

if you want to learn all three, i think it would be the easiest to start off with norwegian... it's actually the language in the middle of the three, so to say. i, as a dane, understand norwegian quite well, but i don't get a word swedish blaugh i don't know if it's just me?

(i like this guild)

that's very true. many words are the same or much alike, so if you take you time and guess a little, it's quite easy to understand the two remaining languages once you have learned one.

i do prefer to write in english with swedes, though sweatdrop i'll get totally lost if i don't!
