OMG!! ::dies in a puddle of happy goo:: This is wonderful news!! xd Definitely made my morning!! The hero and his(?) Nanami-weapons... I was hoping for some cooler weapons than that, but hey... as long as he fights better than Nanami did, with Rune magic OR physically, it's all good.
Does anyone have a clue as to what True Rune(s) will be prominent in this game? I dunno if anyone's heard... Just curious.
I'm excited to see which characters from the other games will show up, and what time frame this is exactly! 3nodding
That, and someone from that Suikox forum mentioned that the hero might be secretly a princess disguised as a boy to be safe from assassins or something. I don't want that to be true! I like my Suikoden heroes as boys, really. I don't like playing female characters in RPG's, though I'm a girl... Side characters can be uber-cool females, like Chris and Valeria and Lucia and Odessa..... and so on. mrgreen Just my opinion, after all!

I'd much have my lead character a female. Besides, it makes much more sense seeing that it's been stated already that it is suppose to be a princess, not a prince.

Well, they call the Hero "Ouji" (Prince) and not "Hime" (Princess). Maybe the fact that he's a boy and not a girl makes his existance a problem? There might not BE an heir, since he's a boy? It's entirely possible. 3nodding Who knows until more info is let out. whee ..I just want a male lead. No surprise girls, please. ninja

It is now my duty to announce that screenshots of Suikoden V from the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) are out. Feast thy eyes!It looks like Georg is definitely in for the next game, no doubt about that. I wonder if we'll get a Lorelai/Killey sidequest as well, just like the Clive/Elza one? It would be rather interesting to get more information regarding the Sindar. Yup, he's definitely male, despite his extremely effeminate clothing. Of course, it could be that his clothing are to hide the fact that he is male- if Falena's heir is always a female, it could be a twist if the main character was a male dressing up as a girl -IF- there are no other female heirs by the Queen. Or something along those lines.

I am pretty sure Suikoden V is probably not going to come out in the U.S. until next summer or end of next year but there still is there arrival of Suikoden Tactics due to come out this November or so

Ah!! Queendom of Falena!! I really want to learn more about it. It's so...mysterious and cool looking. And I'm happy with the Castle HQ. Getting around with just ship made me bored.
