*Koth enters the level, with Nalini in his arms. He proceeds to Lab 707, and the door unlocks in his presence. He steps inside, and lays Nalini down on a bed within, before the door closes behind them, and a mighty solid lock slams shut*

*Koth awakens, and sets his access card down beside Nalini. He looks over her for a brief moment, and steps out of his lab, and onward toward the main level*

With a heavy head, Nalini opened her eyes, and tried to get adjusted to the dim lights around her. She could barely recollect what happened, just vaguely remembered an altercation with Koth.
Koth...what was it he did?
Forcing herself upright, she noticed that her shoulder ached. Pulling at her top, she just about managed to see, through the burns, a bite mark. Reaching over to try and turn on a light, she managed to fall out of bed, landing heavily on the floor. Resisting the urge to curse, she struggled to haul herself back upright, feeling every cell in her body protest.
Her mask had slipped, and cool air brushed against her face. She ignored it as it slipped off and landed next to her. Her grasping hands managed to find the access card that Koth had left, and slowly, she crawled out of the laboratory.

She forced her mangled body through Level 7, desperate to see a familiar face, even one she did not like. It took all of her effort to get fully upright again, and when she managed it, she leant against the wall for support.
Not much further until the exit...

*MK enters the level after leaving the Main, and proceeds on towards his lab. Swiping his card at the door, he enters, motioning for Nalini to follow him inside*

We will discover the exact extent of your infection, whether or not anything within your body may be reacting to it in a positive or negative fashion, whether any such findings are advancing or hindering your infections, and as a bonus, just about anything else you might want to know about what's going on in your body.
*MK walks over to a small device, and attaches it to a larger machine. A spool of paper feeds into a sort of plotter, and the small device in MK's hand glows at the tip, a soft blue*

Nalini backed off a step in surprise, looking suspiciously at MK and the device.

Ah, don't worry much of it, it will do you no harm. All i must do, is wave this slowly in front of you, and again behind you, and we will get a readout of what might be going on inside you.
*He flips a switch nearby, and a small monitor comes to life. On it, is an image of MKs arm, as the small scanning device is resting against his wrist. On the monitor, one can see metal implants*

It is... part of a Cybernetics.... experiment... ... Long ago, I gave a good portion of my left arm to advance our research in the Cybernetic department. We had none to experiment on at the time, so I volunteered myself.
