MaewolfsMule MaewolfsMule Yeah I only realized it the other day when i realized that she and so many others were continuing to get bit...but...no one was trying to cleanse the bites XD Im on incubus dreams right now and...its taken a while for me to even realize that little possible 'mistake' in the books lol thanks As you can see I have said in this thread that Im on incubus dreams. I was not lying when I said this before hand...it states it perfectly clear in my second post , thank you 1st, no-one said you were lying. 2nd I'm sorry I did not see that. I must have read too quickly for it to process

I think it's in issue 11 of the Anita Blake comics... could be 10 (I bought both today)... that shows Edward pouring holy water on Anita's bite and her screaming like it's acid. They were worried that Nicolaos would be able to use Anita to turn against Edward because of the bite, that she'd seen it happen before.
That's just weird. Another YAABI ?

I should really read the comics XD i have them up to ten or so...the books, i also have the first death ones as well, they are in the hard back books..

I know i know...Ive been so busy lately, I bought a bird, Ive been getting out of the house more, and im still trying to finish incubus dreams XD but since i dont stay up all night anymore I cant find time to read it lol

I'm a senior in high school so the only reading time i get is late at night and while i was reading the AB books (which was like a four month span) i stayed up soooo late. I don't know how, but it didn't effect my grades. lol. But yes, AB is certainly good enough to stay up all night reading and i absolutely can not wait for Blood Noir. I have to say i did not care much for ID, minus one scene tween JC and AB.

This is an old post but who cares.
Anita hasnt cleansed any of her bites because no vampires have rolled her mind. And the ones who have, she killed, hence theres no point.
The holy water is supposed to break the tie that the vampire who rolled the mind of someone has over the person.

FenrisVollmond Yeah, I remember that. But, at the time, Anita was paranoid around vampires and really didn't want to be linked to one. Something about when you get bitten by a vamp they can call you to them or something..? She has the marks now though so, maybe, she just doesn't give a damn anymore? It's funny.. This, one of the many continuity errors I guess, has never occured to me. Good find. lol yes she was paranoid and didn't want to be linked but expescially to nicoloas. and if she wouldn't have done the holy water rise she would be able to be called and commanded by her. also the vamps she's being bitten by now she trusts (more)!
