He was talking quickly.. Was Lyra nervous? No, it had to be something else. Perhaps she was making him uneasy? That was it. It had to be the reason he answered so quickly. "That's sweet of you Lyra." Rhoswen smiled, backing up a bit in an attempt to make him more comfortable or less nervous. Whatever it was he was feeling.
Her nose was controlling her body though, and caused her to draw nearer to him. "You smell good." The mare was sniffing him as a dog would, not having gone too far from his body while backing up. The smell was something new to her. Though she was sure that it wasn't an unusual scent.

No, he was nervous actually, she hadn't upset him or anything. If anything she was quite nice and pleasant to talk with. Watching her back up he tilted his large head. "Is something wrong Rhos?" He asked concern entering his voice as he spoke.
Blinking he felt his cheeks heat up before nodding. "I-I am glad you like my scent." He said moving his head to sniff once at her hair. "You smell quite lovely as well."

"You seemed uneasy so I backed up." She looked up at him, having spoken softly. The mare didn't want to make him uncomfortable or anything, the nervousness she hadn't thought of, as she was already scared from the start.
Instinct told her to leave, she wasn't sposed to be smelling random stallions, nor letting them smell her too, but there was something about him that made her want to stay and get to know him more. His comment made her blush, no one had told her that before, partially due to lack of seeing other Soquili, partially due to her shyness. "T-thank you." Rhoswen stuttered, looking up at him, hoping that he wouldn't notice her blushing.

"I'm not uneasy...nervous and not used to someone being so close to me aside from my sister or the mare I live with." He spoke honestly.
"It's not a problem, just speaking the truth." He spoke nodding his head and nuzzled her hair once gently. "Would you care to...go for a walk. We can see the flowers and the firefly's...I do believe they have started to make their appearance, though they are yet few in number we may be able to find some.

"Nervous?" it had crossed her mind but once, how could she have ruled out nervousness? Oh well, that didn't matter much now. "Being honest, I'm kinda nervous too." Rhoswen looked up at him, the blush on her face having faded.
A shocked look was fought back as Lyra nuzzled her hair, causing the once faded blush to reappear. "I-I would like that." The mare softly nuzzled his mane, enjoying the smell more than anything.

"why are you nervous Rhos?" She didn't have a reason to be, right? He really couldn't think of a reason for her to be nervous, then again that was almost like saying he didn't have a reason to be nervous, though apparently he did since he was.
Smiling as she nuzzled his male his tail swaying behind him happily. This was certainly turning into an interesting evening. "Where would you like to go, point the direction and we'll go." He said watching her carefully as he drew back to do so.

"I could ask you the same thing Lyra." Rhoswen smirked, tail flicking a bit as she pondered over why she was nervous. "But I suppose that it's because I don't get to talk to many stallions." This much was true, though it was more than just stallions. She didn't get the chance to talk to much of anyone at all which had created an awkward situation when she did get the chance.
With the option to pick where their walk would take them her mind immediately went blank. No thoughts, no signals telling her to move. Nothing. It took her a moment to realize she was standing there with a blank expression on her face and promptly shook her head. "I don't know. Why don't you pick since I interrupted you."

"Indeed you could and I haven't a single answer for it...not really." It was just how he was feeling and he honestly wasn't sure why, it didn't make sense to him and he'd never felt like this before really.
"That might be the same for me but instead of stallions change it to mares...at least ones I don't call sister and don't live with." He said nodding once his head, that would make sense, right?
"You didn't interrupt me." At least if she did he didn't consider it to be such, then again he didn't consider people walking up to him and such like that interrupting as it wasn't like he were with another soquili or doing something important
"Mmm...how about right?" He said gesturing in that direction with his head."

"We should both get out and talk to other more often then." she said with a smile, a soft breeze blowing some of her hair into her face.
"I still bothered you while you were.. What were you doing?" Now that she thought about it she hadn't realized what he was doing when she came out of from between the trees to meet him.
"Sounds good." Rhoswen looked in the direction that he had indicated and took a few steps that way, pausing to wait for him.

"I do agree, perhaps we can start now and with each other, talk and see each other more often." Lyra suggested with a smile to the mare.
"You did not bother me and I was smelling the flowers they are quite...fragrant and my sister is rather fond of flowers. She likes to talk to them." He answered almost absently his voice calm and soothing as he thought of his sister and when she had been talking to the flowers.
Trailing behind her when he did come to her side he nodded. "Let us keep to each others side as it is dark."

A wonderful idea. "Sure." Rhoswen smiled back, tail swaying as they walked.
"You like your sister a lot don't you?" The mare looked up at him, a curious look on her face. She hadn't seen her family in a long time. She'd have to do that soon now that she thought about it.
"Sounds good to me." Once more her tail flicked, this time in his direction. It may have been dark, but so was he. It was easy to loose him and herself in the night.

"I do, I love my family though I don't see them often." He spoke honestly. He had seen his sister recently but it had been so long between when he had recently seen her and the time before that.
Yes it was easy to become lost i n the darkness he was just hoping they didn't become lost or loose each other, that wouldn't be very good.

"We're in the same boat then." An unsure smile on her face this time. Rhoswen hadn't seen her family in a while, though she cared for them greatly. "I love my family too."
An idea came to mind and she brushed her body up against his. This way she could keep track of him even in the night. "Hope you don't mind."

"Yes, it would seem we are perhaps in the same boat as they would say." He said nodding his head and smiled lightly. It was sad not seeing your family in a long time and when you did it wasn't for long and the time between seeing them...it was sad.
"No, I don't. But may I ask why?" He asked his cheeks flushing. Of course he didn't mind but still.

She hadn't thought about how much she missed, them, but it was the fun times that always came to mind whenever she thought of them. They were the only thing that kept her from getting depressed during the day. "Along with seeing more Soquili we should see our families more." Rhoswen suggested, enjoying the thought.
"It's so we don't loose one another while we walk. You're so dark and I can't see well. This way we know where one another's at." A soft smile on her face, not aware of the flush on his face.
