Oh, man.... Before Metal.. I was into stuff like Creed, 3 Doors Down, 3 Days Grace, and I absolutely HATE to say it, but a little bit of country... but that's only because both of my parents listened to it and are STILL listening to it. I mean.. come on; my mom listens to freakin' Barry Manilow for cryin' out loud... I HAD to move to something different. I think the first Metal I ever heard was either Judas Priest or Iron Maiden... I can't remember which... maybe it was Nightwish... I don't know. BUT, what I do know is that Metal is law and Metal is the only way to go. METAL FOREVER!!!

Dragon Bleed I think I win for having the worst taste in music before metal. The first music I remember listening to: A*Teens, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, N*Sync, Cisco, and Nelly... it was that bad. Then I moved to Avril Levign....however you spell her last name. Then Evanescence, System, Linkin Park, Korn and Slipknot, out of those I only listened to Evanescence for any length of time. Then after I found Nightwish, I moved to metal.

Warrior of Metal Gravechylde I listened to rap then moved to rock then metal. I still like rap. The only difference is now I like GOOD rap. Me too, though I only have a few.

I got my first CD when I was seven and it was Metallica - Ride The Lightning. Before that I never really listened to anything but soon after I listened to rock and Nu- Metal like Orgy, Korn, Soil, The Offspring, Mudvayne, etc. Then I had a brief summer of liking Slipknot....and then I moved to Hardcore and Metalcore. Within the next year I met this girl who will remain nameless, she showed me all these metal bands like Behemoth, In Flames, Rotting Christ, Old Mans Child, etc. That was it, after that I starting finding bands on my own and such...

I liked Eminem, Blink 182, GOB, Sex Pistols, Linkin Park, Led Zeppelin, Kansas and others.
