"Your Highness," Alaric said as he bowed and held out the cake.
Alaric pushed a strand of hair back into place and looked around the disorderly room, observing a game of tug-of-war between two goblins. The loser landed in the pit the rope was suspended over.

Just then sain barged back into the room with a glare set on her face.
"Oi jareth you and me need to talk!"
Alaric watched as the fearsome goblin king winced and had a look of faint fear on his face as he exited the room.

'What is that fairy up to?' Alaric wondered as he left the room. He shoved the goblins away from the shut doors outside of the room. He could just see Jareth and Sain through the keyhole.

unforunately he could only hear the last part of the conversaion.
"If you ever threaten ameera again so help me I'll king your a** straight to the river of death."

Ameera was already in kitchen cooking dinner. As she was sprinkling various spices on the meal she heard sain yelling at jareth.
"Oh... no." She whispered and dropped the small pepper shaker on the food without realizeing it.
"I'm so dead!" Her voice cracked on the last word. "Ok breathe... breathe..." She told herself.
"Sain will handle it..." She shook her head to get back on track. She looked down at the plate of food covered in pepper threw it out. Then grabbed the back up plate of food finished perfecting it.
"Now i just have to wait for sain to finish up yelling at jareth" She whispered to herself

"Shut up!" Alaric hissed at the goblins all clamoring to see. "I didn't know we had a river of death." When the goblins still wouldn't be quiet, Alaric summoned a tiny crystal ball and rolled it down the hall. The goblins found it fascinating and chased after it.

Then the door slammed open and sain walked back in still slightly fumming. Any goblins in her way found themselves kicked across the room. Jareth closed in behind her looking pale but sain turned and glared at him and he quickly walked to the throne.

When ameera noticed Sain ans Jareth were done feuding she walked towards the thrown. A few feet from the thrown she stopped in her place when she saw a small crystal ball rolling to her feet.
"A crystal ball...?" She whispered to herself. Jareth seemed to hear her.
"Yes, It's a crystal ball my dear. Pick it up... Please" The word seemed out of place coming from his mouth. Looks like he's afraid of Sain.
Without another thought or word Ameera knelt down holding the food above her head so she wouldn't drop it slowly picked up the crystal ball and stepped towards Jareth.
"Here you are." Ameera said suspiciously as she held the ball out in front of her.
"Keep it." He smirked.
"ok... Well here's your food." She set the plate and the wine glass on the small table next to his thrown.
Without thanks r another words jareth began to eat. Ameera waited a few seconds to make sure he liked it, Then she stepped out of the room and shut the door. After her 5 minutes in there with him she took a breath for the first time. Then she slowly looked down at the crystal ball and tucked it into the pocket of her apron.
"What is it for...?" She whispered to herself quietly

Alaric made sure to stay a good distance away from Sain as he followed her. "What did you say? He doesn't look too good."

Sain just shrugged an irritable expression still on her face.
"I just told him what would happen if he treated ameera that way ever again and how I felt. Honestly you'd think he'd have more of a spine."

"I think that's a bit unfair of you. And, you could have something coming now, who knows what he'll do?" Alaric paused for a breath. "What did Ameera do in the first place?

Sain had a solem face and she said in words that were not her own
"No it isn't fair but thats the way it is."
Her green eyes glimmered and glazed darker as if something was taking over her.
"ameera didn't do anything except that she forgot ice for his drink. he way over-reacted."

"May i cut in?" Ameera said quietly. "Alaric i need to ask you something..."
Ameera paused. She looked down at to her pocket and slowly pulled out the crystal Jareth had given her and held it gently in her hands.
"Do you know what this does Alaric?"Ameera looked at the crystal curiously.

sain in turn stared at it as well and then murmered.
"I'll show you your dreams."
She frowned why had those words come to her mind? What was happening to her?!

"Sain...?" Ameera's voice cracked. "What do you mean by ill show you your dreams? What is this thing?"
Ameera looked down at the crystal once again but this time her head started to spin she saw a peach appear in the crystal... After a few seconds the peach disappeared and picture of a human family appeared in the crystal... "Sain... who are these people? They look familiar..." Ameeras head spun once more and the picture disappeared, Ameera tripped landing on the floor... The crystal rolled out of her hands just a few inches away from her fingertips
