Simi growled at the female. Still up to her same thoughts as usual, it seemed!
He stood where he was not wanting to draw attention to himself and Tufah. This was the last thing he needed right now when he was trying to be strong for everyone. Screw himself, no, he had to worry about what was best for the pride, and not himself. It had been going quite fine until he had seen Tufah. Why did she do that to him? Blasted creature, really! She was so cruel to him, and yet it didn't seem like she cared at all. Were all females like this? Surely not! His mother was kind, his sisters a bit different but still cared. What was it with her?
"Then damn me for even worrying about you for one moment, Tufah. If not worry, then wishing you the best in your life. No, it's always my fault, isn't it?" He would have hissed if he could, for he was feeling a bit of that anger flare up in his chest again. Easy enough to draw out, especially if from Tufah.
Whatever. She'd get it again some day, and then he'd be the one to laugh. With a snarl, he let himself leave her. He needed to calm himself before he saw anyone else, lest they figure out what riled him up so.
