Neondragon FTW! <3
Haha, I have the book/supplies for drawing dragons that she put together. :3 It's pretty sweet, I made some nice looking dragons from it.

I've got both of NeonDragon's books. I must agree that she is a phenomenal artist. I wish many times over that I had a gift for drawing like that.

Ermak Lorde Irene Radford? I'm not certain I'm familiar with that author... so she's pretty good then? Something to check out? I'm well versed with D&D and DragonLance... I grew up on those... Hey Kit! If you like Silver's so much you might try "Elizabeth Kerner" with her book "Song in the Silence" that ones pretty well done! 3nodding "Mercedes Lackey & James Mallory" with "The Outstretched Shadow" have some nifty dragon concepts as well.. (though their's is a black.) Well, her novels really aren't that great, but I read them. I like the portrayal of the dragons, but the novels are lacking...just not sure what. "The Outstretched Shadow" was an okay book. I read that trilogy and am waiting for more from the next story line in that world. The dragons in this series are pretty cool.

Do you mean Elizabeth Kerner? or Mercedes Lackey?
if it's the later, then I have to disagree with you on that point. I really enjoyed her stories, the character were interesting and had alot of depth, her descriptions were good. the plot was not cliche or predictable for the most part. ... aside from her endings which are a dissatisfying I highly recommend her as an author.

Oh oh, sorry for being so unclear. I meant Irene Radford since you asked about her and I was the one that brought her up. I read that whole trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and am waiting for more of the second trilogy to come out...so far it's only one book.

ah, okay. Thank you.
I'll probably still take a look at it, but now I'll at least know it's probably not worth buying outright without a pre-read. wink

I like all the dragons and I love mine just becaus they are mine. but there is one i i wish i could get at least one of if not both a male and female of it, adn the is the split dragon it seems as if everyone eslse has one and i do not.
there are only two current dragons that bother me the baby orange both winged and not winged you can not make heads or tails of it you can not tell what body part is what, and the wingless gold it has some strange pointed thing sticking out of the back that just dose not fit.
as for booke i loved the Into the Land of the Unicorns and sadly did not get threw the first book befor i lost it i wish i could get it again and my be the others after it. i am also waighting for the 3rd book in the eragon triology. i also wish that Ernest Drake had wrighten more that two books or if he had that more than two of his were copyed and such after all he was an actual Dragonologist.

im waiting for the third book in the inheritance trilogy too (thats original name of the eragon trilogy)...i love the books and will read them over and over if i have to. i just love reading period but it seems there are a few rare good dragon books that i can find due to the fact that all the good ones are all gone by the time i get to the library or the book store....or in some cases the book store is too big and i get distracted easily by other books sweatdrop ....ya i would buy half of a large book store if i could just because i wanted to read the books
