i play the guitar because i aspire to become heavy in song writing and the literary arts. i love being able to play the songs that i also love to listen to. its a hobby that i really enjoy. the more i learn, the more fun it becomes.

Im the same way. I think of awesome licks and then i forget em, so I usually have to play it 1000000 times and get it stuck in my head b4 I can write it down, otherwise I just forget it. stare

the only big difference between the Les and other Humbucked guitars is how there wired.
les paul's are wired like most bass guitars.
if the switch is in center (both pickups are active) you can adjust Tone AND Volume on either pickup.
on my Ibanez for example, if it's switch is in center you can only adjust a master volume for both, not for an individual pickup.
that nice twangy sound you can make with a Les is done that way, you just drop the volume on... i think its usualy the neck pickup, down by about 50-65% and you get the twangy bluesy sound.
My Mother's Fender CoronadoII is wired the same way.
but ur right, they play nice.
i just perfer somthing with a little more KICK.
and a Floyd Rose Tremello, and a single coil between the Hums, and 24 frets. and more KICK!

guitar is more or less a passion 4 me (as it should b 4 every other guitar player)...its a really indescribable experience playing...in addition 2 showing me superiority 2 my peers, it almost got me laid xD...teaching others is also a wonderful experience...its like looking at a self-image from the past...its just ...phenominal

TWlSTED This is were you can tell me why you likes your guitar...or like the idI ea of having one...or want to get one.[/quote I LOVE the guitar. It's fun to play and is the most challenging instrument ever and i love it.I don't have much money so I own a cheap guitar but whatever brand it is, I can make it sound good. I play metal, rock, and alternative. I play bass, and drums also. ROCK ON!!!
