"No more flowers?" Quincy shrugged and sat back down next to Dalal, definitely feeling more comfortable while in his element of love for the sky. A very large grin settled over the toddler's features as he checked his surroundings and fell flat onto his back. His view was now just the expanse of the sky, crowned with the haphazard stem, leaf and flower from the field around him. He knocked his feet together a bit, wiggling his toes beneath the fabric of his shoes in a slight buzz.
"I wanna build a plane so I can fly it." Quincy finally closed his eyes as the sight of endless blue began to make his belly flip flop. Something about being able to see nothing but the sky, something so large and unavailable made him feel like he could fall up into it. The thought was frightening and exciting all at once.
... Did Dalal feel that way? He turned his head and opened a single eye to a small slit and smiled. "If you lay like this, Miss, it feels like you could fall into the sky."

Dalal wondered why Quincy was so happy about a thing that was far far away from them. Wrinkling her nose at the plane idea, the mantis started to rearrange the flowers, glancing at Frank who seemed to point in her direction.
The girl shook her head as Quincy wanted her to lay down. It made her feel bad in the tummy and actually falling didn't seem good to her. She was falling all the time with that big behind and she had never enjoyed it. "Don't want to."
The general lady appeared to be a bit confused about the turn of conversation. She didn't know a thing about skies, how was she supposed to demand something then?
"I need to get flowers to Lizzi!" Phew. Rescue.

Quincy wriggled his toes beneath the fabric of his shoes, nose wrinkling in the steady heat pouring from above him. He needed wind, he wanted to run, climb trees and get off the ground. But he couldn't. He was small. Like Miss General, lady, ma'am. He thought about it. Maybe she didn't like the sky as much as he did. He was being rude, and to a superior which was bad news bears. In response he shot up and glanced over at his companion. "I'm sorry, I didn't know that you didn't want to."
Then she looked conflicted, which was odd because she seemed to know a lot...Just not about the sky. Quincy grinned at this. Maybe this General was a ground General and not like the Air Force. There were many generals, or so said Aaron's website page he showed him.
"Wait... Didn't you say you had enough flowers for 'Izzi?" Quincy inquired before slumping his shoulders in slight relaxation.

The apologise was heard by Dalal, but still the sky made her feel strange. Something about freedom caused a strange feeling in her stomach as if she wanted to weep. Perhaps the thought was just too big for her young heart.
"I have. She needs to get them. They wilt." Actually they didn't but Dalal managed to state it in a very firm voice. She wanted to go home now. Talking to Quincy had been alright, but now she was getting tired and he was confusing with sky and family. Dalal felt a bit like snuggling into her blanket which lay in a corner in Frank's room.
"You can write me about family. What it is." She said as she tried to get up.
