She nodded in agreement and looked back at him. "I guess. I probably have had one of these nightmares before without realizing it." Aminali shrugged slightly. There was just something about these nightmares that bothered her for some reason... She couldn't put her finger on it but there just had to be something more to it.
"I like running and hunting. I don't really swim very well but I can do it if I have to." Turning her head slightly, Aminali laughed. "You make fun of hyenas? And again, I have to wonder why you're still alive. They're... vicious when in a group." The wild dog shrugged as her voice drifted off. She listened to him mention something about looking for a companion. "I don't belong anywhere. My soul belongs to the earth and I wander about without any qualms. But I don't know where my heart lies. Sometimes, when I'm alone, I wish that I had a companion too." Aminali laid her head on the ground, her eyes full of thought.

Talbot nodded to her word, just about everyone had nightmares. If they knew it or not.
Talbot smiled. "Yes hunting and running is good, most of the time you need one to do the other, its such a drag when you do." He joked making the most discussed face as he could, but he ended up just looking goofy again. "They are, I've gotten chased by them a few times, not fun. But if you think about it they look pretty funny looking. Hunched backs. Weird faces." He stood up for a moment trying to imatate on. Then flopped back down.
"You probally know just as much as I do, how hard it is to be on your own some times." His voice trailed.

Aminali tilted her head and looked at the ground with a sort of softness in her eyes. "Yes, but it's times like this when swimming sounds... very nice." She smiled softly and looked up at him. "Really?" She laughed as she watched him imitate a hyena. "I don't think I've ever seen one up close. Isolation does that. I don't think I've really met anything else other then wild dogs..." Her voice trailed off as she thought about those she's met in her lifetime. She almost looked a little sad but that instance was gone in a flash.
"Yes, sometimes you just need somebody there. But I've given up on hoping that. It's just me in this world and nobody else." Aminali spoke solemnly. She had been alone for so long, it was like she just gave up on companionship. This probably contributed to her stubborn personality.

Talbot grinned as he pushed himself into a sitting postion. "Well then maybe we should hang out more, me and you. Teach eachother to trust and make fun of hyena's on the way!" He said in a some what cheery voice and tried his best to laugh. He then stood up and tugged at her ear. "Come on!" He looked down with her. "Lets swim, shall we?"
He didn't wait for a awnser he was already troting over to the water. "oooo." He barked. "Its cooooooooll." He grinned as he walked up to the water Chest deep.

For some reason, Animali had a feeling that they were never going to see each other again after this. That was her experience with friendship as of now... She didn't trust anybody because this world was so big. There was no way she could hold onto relationships when everybody was so spread apart. She had no family and she was just a wanderer. That made her more difficult to find. But she shrugged slightly at Talbot and smiled. "Sure. But let me tell you, I'm not very good at it." The female giggled softly as she stood up and walked to the water's edge.
Placing a paw in the water, Animali tested its temperature and judged it to be fine especially in this heat. She walked into the water. It felt good on her fur and she walked until she was chest deep like Talbot.

Talbot grinned as the wind started to blow in his face lightly it was a nice cool breeze. He smiled as he lowered his maw for a moment and lapped but a bit of water. Then he closed his eyes again, but this time he was ploting. He opened them and looked down at the water that was underneath him and turned around.
"Hey Animali." He said quickly wanting to get her attention. He moved closer to her and picked up his paw the best he could and then dropped it back down trying to splash her.

Aminali closed her eyes too as she let the cool water surround her. It felt so nice. Why didn't she think of this before? She felt content as she floated there. Then she heard Talbot call her name. She turned and opened her eyes to look at him. When he splashed her, she laughed happily. She couldn't remember laughing like this in a long time. "Hey! That's no fair." The female tried to splash back at him and tried to think about the last time she had actually laughed and smiled like this.

Talbot chuckled, he too was having a very fun time. He hadn't in a while. He smiled and wandered over to her, he couldn't help himself. He leaned close to her and licked her cheak, then moved to the shallow parts of the water and laided down in it it was still at his chest. He watched her for a moment hoping the reaction wasn't gonna kill him.

Then it hit her. All of the times she had with a wandering group of wild dogs. That was so long ago. Even so, they had amazing times together and Aminali had been suppressing these memories for so long. It was strange, to remember all of the faces and the wild dogs. They were all so different and she loved spending time with them. Then... she realized the reason she left and then came to the conclusion that, that was for the best. Aminali gave a momentary frown but it disappeared with the wind.
And then he licked her cheek and she blushed vividly. The female was clearly stunned by the contact. She was so unused to physical contact. She probably hadn't been touched by another wild dog in years. It was all so strange. Talbot was strange and she wasn't sure why she was feeling this way now.
She followed him and lifted herself onto the bank of the watering hole and laid down on her side not knowing what to say next.

Talbot closed his eyes for a moment as she wandered over to his side. He wasn't sure what to say. His mind raced as thoughts of what to say ranged from 'Just joking around.' to 'hey I like you'. He also thought of running away like he did anyother time
Come on Talbot say somthing.
He told himself in a harsh voice as he took a deep breath in and opened his eyes. "I know I just met you Aminali, but I really like you, I had a fun time today." He smiled at her.

Breathing evenly, Aminali wasn't thinking much. This was... a strange encounter. She didn't think she would stick around for so long because it was hard to keep her interest. But Talbot was interesting and he made her feel things that she hadn't felt for so long. That was nice... Secretly, Aminali had always wanted a family and had always wanted to live happily ever after.
The female turned her head to look at him. Smiling, Aminali was pleasantly surprised to hear that. "I did too and I think I really like you too." She continued to smile as she lay there. She was a little surprised at herself because she had been alone for so long. She never thought that she'd ever fall for another wild dog so quickly.

Talbot let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god! I didn't want to do that then get rejected." He laughed a bit and then looked at her. "Ya know, I found a den not that far off and I've been staying around these same lands a lot, would you like to stay with me." He grinned.
"I would be honered to have such a Beautiful, and caring female, like you, around. One that I can finnally trust." He smiled at her. Truthfully inside he also wanted a family one that would acctually love him and fill the void that his father left.

She couldn't help but laugh. "How could I reject you?" Aminali moved towards him and nuzzled him affectionately. "You're too adorable to reject." The wild dog grinned mischievously and was definitely enjoying herself now. "Oh really now? It better be nice and big." She stuck her tongue at him playfully. Never had she been this way around another wild dog let alone a male. Though, as she had learned, anything was possible nowadays. "You flatter me too much Talbot. I'm not nearly as great as you say."

Talbot blushed a bit. "Yeah, you see like a nice Wild Dog the nicest I ment, Aminali, you are beautiful and I couldn't see you with some one like me." He shuffled his feet a bit and smiled when she nuzzled him, then he snickered. "Of course it is big! I would'nt be offering a small space to a beauty, like you." He smirked and stood up. "And everything I say is true."
As he stood up he nudged her. "Come, I'll show you the way." He smiled.

Aminali laughed vividly as he complimented her even more. "I'd be lucky to be spending time with you. I couldn't imagine myself being so lucky but here you are." The female smiled softly feeling very happy right now. She was surprised though. She wasn't expecting to find anybody anytime soon and then Talbot showed up. Life was strange.
"Ah. But of course." She grinned happily and got up from her resting place. "Lead the way. It better be as good as you make it seem." She smiled at him once more.
