She smirked some having gone a few steps before him when he stopped. She laughed at him some, and meekly pawed. Perking her ears up at him she started to walk along side again. She had managed to get his permission to hang around. This was indeed a good thing. With a little bound forward she wagged her tail. "Wanna race?"

"No," he said still walking along. He finally just stopped and then turned back down towards this river muttering, "God why does it have to be so freaking hot...it's not even summer yet...." He slushed back into the cool water and just laid there. "If your hot too....you can lay in the water too and I'll make sure nothing happens to you," he said nonchalantly.

Forte looked at him and she murred watching him. He really was an engima, but she didn't really mind. She was just happen to have someone to be around. It was pretty lonely in those buildings up north. She nodded some, and padded over, keeping close to the shore line, and she laid down, she lapped up a little of the water. "It's not as hot up north, but sometimes it gets to be just to cold, after a while." She twitched her ears some.

He watched her for a moment before blinking and sinking below the surface. The cool water rushed over him and soaked into his think pelt cooling him off quickly. It felt so good. Then he resurfaced and turned to look back at Forte.

Forte blinked at him when he did, she was curious about what he was doing. She shrugged it off some, her tail wagging against in the water, but even in the water the sun was starting to bother her. As Thanatos resurfaced, she stood up and shook herself off and she wandered out of the water, and into the shade on the river bank, before she plopped down.

Thanatos kept diving and resurfacing. Ending up in different places when he came back up for air. For him, it was relaxing to swim about in the deeper water. Paddling along and then floating.

Forte blinked and watched him swim, he looked like he was having alot of fun. She laughed some, her eyes looking around to see where he would pop up. Her tail wagged happily, as she did. She didn't mind sitting in the shade while he swam, it just was kind of nice having company nearby.
