It's an intresting concept, and there's no doubt that it would be original. The question is though, do you want to spend that kind of time on plushies, and if you did, would you open up a true shop or a bribe one? Personally, I wouldn't mind having a plushie if it was good and was decently priced.

If you two are really serious about this, PM a mod regaurding the legalities of it. I'd say selling physical things for gold would be ok, there's no ToS rule against that as far as I know. Selling physical things for RL cash is definitely ok.
As for the market, the idea is definitely original. Some hard-core art lovers may just take you up on your offers. You never know how succesful you're going to be until you try :3
Some issues to consider though. Is the cost of materials and time spent on each project worth the gold payoff (will you be doing too much work for too little profit)? People can take a picture of the plushie or sculpture, but that sort of thing is kinda hard to display over the net.
*That dragon sculpture is bad a**!!! X3

X3 the pictures are proof of the finished object . . . it's the working out the shipping it so the person can actually physically have it . . .

BlueAltitude the only thing i see problamatic is the shipping part ninja yes that's the biggest reason i made this thread . . . that's an issue i'm truly not sure how to work out without violating TOS . . . since i may nmiss something in the tos and end up violating it . . . right now i'm thinking if i pay for everthing, shipping included, and am only pair in gold that it could work . . . although i'd have it very clear it's planned to be shipped, so people don't just go ordering them for pics of the sculpture/plushie . . .

I guess that came out wrong >< What I meant was, part of the reason avi art is so popular is because it's easy to display on your profile or in your signature. Then again, I guess the buyer could always take pictures of the sculpture/plushie to display. I agree, figuring the cost of shipping into the gold price of the item would be your best bet. But then you've got the problem of international shipping. We've got Gaians all over the world and it's a lot more expensive to ship from country to country than it is to ship between states.
