-one of the shadowy guards turns and vanishes into the wall.. while the other steps closer to the vampire. After a moment.. the gate opens and within waits the other guard. He beckons the guest to follow and leads him towards a dark grotto to the east of the garden.-
~The Master awaits within.. Sanguine.~
-Fading away.. the shadow guard vanishes, leaving the path into the dark grotto open-

prince romanov valthier strode behind the guard, grinning proudly the whol while. inside he saw the master of the house talking with an ulorbb'athian priestess. -Val'atar stood within the grotto.. alone. His ruby eyes shining in the reflected light of the water from a pool at his feet. His gaze fell on the Vampire and he smiled, dipping his head ever so slightly- " Vendui Sanguine.. High Reaper of our Goddess. I am glad you have accepted my invitation. There is much at work in the world and those of us who would see the spider kissers remain in their deep places have much to speak of.'

Maslynn stepped forward and gave Val'atar a nod of respect.
"Jabbuk Druu'giir. It has been some time since we last saw one another." She drew a breath, as if to say more, then hesitated.
"I wish to discuss matters of some importance," she said. "Matters I wish to remain private."

"indeed." he sat on a muchsroom. "i have a proposal. first, you should realize, that the high priestess and i are quite involved. and the temple of bones in your city is going to be an extremely powerfull influence. you are no longer the sole leading power here."

Slaves to build your temple are bought from my merchants.. the architect's and the food you feed them is bought from merchants I over see. Our Goddess is powerful.. but my House commands all the Arcane magic in this city. We are first for a reason.. and while perhaps one day the temple will be a force to recon with.. for now it is new and just forming. Nothing is created over night, nor destroyed. Speak of your proposal.. but remember to whom you speak."

"of course patron. all i am saying i sthis:if we were to ally ourselves this city would be completely ruled by kiaransalee, the Revanancer! me, the high priestess, and the ruling house of the city, all working together! with my house's portals to all other cities in undergaia, her influence, and your trading routes, would expand to every reach!" he was grinning wildly, his eyes wide, and his arms flamboyantly stretching in enfasis.

My Sorcerers can go anywhere in the world.. UnderGaia or above and there are those who fear that power. Seeing me openly ally myself with your house and the temple might goad them into attack. What then?"

"then we fight back of course. we both command both sorcerous magic and the spells of our goddess. and hordes of the undead are under our comands, much more so than any spider-kisser could hope to rebuke. most of us are undead ourselves. and in case you hadn't noticed..." valthier grinned now, eyes flashed red. "kiaransalee is a more powerfull deity than lloth."
